Modern American Muscle — This is my 2001 Pontiac Firebird Formula. The car is basically stock, it has a SLP cold air induction system and a Pro 5.0 short shifter. This car is my daily driver and has been incredibly reliable since new.

Pros: With this car I get to experience raw V8 power when I feel like it but also all the comfort's of a modern 21st century car. This car also handles exceptionally well which is a major plus over past muscle cars.

Cons: Stock CD player is sketchy and does not like burned CD's, and it's not the greatest car to have with the current gas prices. I average 18.5 mpg.

2001 Pontiac Firebird V6 — i've owned my car for about 7 months now, previosly a '88 firebird, and i love it. i am a huge F-body fan and even though i drive a V6 and not the V8 i think my car is still very fast. i love the looks of it too. i can stare at my car all day and not be tired of it. it's sporty and fast looking.

Owner for 0 years, 7 months

Miles Driven per Year:8,000

Pros: gas(better than trans am), fast V6, nice looking,

Cons: has some minor recalls, no traction in rain, wish i had a Trans Am/Formula

Overall Very Reliable Car, Easy Maintenance, Well Built And Comfortable To Drive, I Have One. — I have owned a car like this for over 2 years and it has been an extremely reliable vehicle around town and on long distance road trips. It has never broken down on me or left me stranded. Personally, I enjoy the style. Mine is pewter with black leather interior, bottom molding all around and T-tops. The only problem that it had was one headlight had electrical issues and had to be replaced and my driver's power window occasionally stops working.

Owner for 2 years, 4 months

Pros: overall very reliable car, easy maintenance, well built, comfortable to drive

Cons: not a very tight turning radius, can have electrical problems

Dreamcar — Great sportscar for the sportscar fan that wants a strong car, but not something that is too strong. Wineberry in color, with a black convertible top, ash cloth interior, 3.8 ltr V6 5 spd automatic, sports pedals, tinted windows (side & rear), tinted eyebrow across windshield, since disc JBL audio system, buckets seats...took corners the way a sportscar is supposed to!! It was alot of fun to own. I was sad to see Her go.

Pros: Convertible so that your hair can blow, alot of fun to drive, beautiful car

Cons: doesn't handle in winter weather....at all.

2001 Pontiac Firebird V6 Y87 — This is my daily driver firebird. It took me two years to find the perfect firebird and I went with this. It is a 2001 Pontiac Firebird with the sunset orange metallic paint, black leather, t-tops, monsoon sound system, and the Y87 performance package. Bought it with 44k miles in June 2008. I love these cars, if I had the money, I would buy another and keep both of em lol. My bird looks great, but performance is ok, it is a v6 tho. The build quality is ok, it has too much plastic in the inside and out, but what new car doesn't right. Great gas mileage for a sports car. Really fun to drive. Can be a hassle in the winter tho obviously. Let me kno if you have any questions or wanna talk cars---

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: appearance, fun factor, gas mileage

Cons: visibility, plastic interior, winter driving, burning oil

says:
The TA is iconic no doubt. It was my first love and first choice but I bought my Camaro because the TAs were several thousand dollars more but rated just a few hp more.
