Would Love To Own One Again. — This was definitely my favorite truck ever. Felt great, very comfortable, YOU felt like the driver, not the truck driving you. A bit down on power, but still a punchy motor (5.4). gas mileage was good around town, but not the best on the highway. I would love to own one of these trucks again (99-03, 04 heritage).

Pros: Awesome control, perfect mix of old/new school

Cons: None

Ford F-150 Is A Great Full Size Truck — Best truck I've ever owned. Great performance from the 5.4 engine. Built well and great interior and very comfortable. Like the looks and comfort over the newer F-150's. 18 mpg and low maintenance costs. Not as fun to drive as my Ford Ranger but much easier to drive then a F-350.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Lots of cargo room great for a work vehicle, more economical than a 3/4 or 1 ton.

Cons: Big

Love It — I love the look its fire engine red extended cab with 4 doors. It performs great it has a limtied slip differential and auto lockin hubs and more power to get threw anything. Its a blast to drive the only sucky thing is the gas mileage. It only gets around 12 mgp

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Performance

Cons: Gas milegae

I Give It 5 Stars — Excellent truck, owned for 5 yrs and has just needed regular maintenance like brakes. I get 22 miles to the gallon in town and 26 miles to the gallon highway. When it's pulling our 25ft trailer for camping it still gets 22 miles to the gallon. Lots of interior space. With the 5.4l engine it has lots of power.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Lots of power with good mileage

Cons: The box is small for moving large items

Great Driving Truck. Feels Better (lighter Qicker) Than The Newer 2004+ Trucks. — Best 4x4 I've ever owned. Still have it and love the power the 5.4L V8. The four doors give you plenty of room for full sized passengers and lots of cargo in the bed. Can also tow well more than 7,000lbs with the tow package.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Power torque and lots of space

Cons: Low MPG

Nice, The Cab May Make It Grocery Hauler, But It Can Go Places Your Mom's Soccer Van Can't — I wasn't sure what to think of the crew cab at first, but in the end I loved it. It cost about $7,000, which I think was good for the price. It's easy to see why the Mustang GT500 would use the 5.4 after driving this truck with a 5.4 in it. Unfortunately, when you stick on the crew cab, the extra weight really weighs down on the 5.4. Overall it's just a fun ride, I have been having some troubles after installing the leveling kit though, but it'll get fixed in good time. Oh yeah, and your mileage is only about 15 on a good day.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: 5.4 L V8

Cons: Bad Mileage

Ford F-150 — Smooth acceleration, easy handling and a powerhouse engine make this truck an excellent machine. This truck is probably the most kickass ride I have ever owned. The only bad thing is the inaccessibility of the six disc changer, its behind the seat on the passenger side.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Everything

Cons: the location of the 6-disc

Not To Bad — Superships performance chip, magnaflow exhaust and a cold air intake. 33's and hopefully this winter some 35's with a 3 inch body lift. A supercharger wouldnt hurt the 5.4 under the hood. Overall a great everyday driver minus the 12 mpg gas mileage...

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Dependable

Cons: 5.4 exhasut manifold leaks
