Great Buy — The car has given me very few problems over the years. The engine is so strong it impresses me. I can burn most cars out of the light. The paint has been scratched but it doesnt look bad. It is great fun to drive. I highly recommend it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: V8 Magnum engine. plus big and safe

Cons: old

Durango — overall good quality. handled well on curves good speed though the brakes are a little jolty this was an overall good drive. the v8 engine depletes the gas mileage but with certain additives it can be good on gas. all around fun car to drive though

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: good handling

Cons: sluggish acceleration

Gravy Train — Is a sick ride. Smooth, lots of balls, not bad on gas, Can tow great, Motor sounds wicked, can offroad and not expenisve to maintain. Its really fun to bomb down the road and listen to the 8 cylinders pounding under the hood.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: V8 + Cherrybomb = sexy

Cons: gas

My Vehicle — I love my Durango. It has a V8 Magnum Engine. Very nice acceleration. So far I haven't had to replace anything other than a headlamp bulb. It does pretty decent on the gas usage. Also wonderful for when I have the kids in the vehicle they can be separated.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Size

Cons: N/A

2001 Durango — 2001 Dodge Durango SLT / 360 (5.9L) - auto / 3.92 Ratio The 360 small block is a great engine to work with and was put into Chrysler vehicles for 30 years. Can be beefed up quite a bit to put out 300+ horses with little effort.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Still A Great Truck — the only performance problem I had was with the breaks. It ate gas like it was water. I think the interior was very study and tough being that I had children in the car. My paint color was a pretty light blue. The truck overall was exspensive to maintain. But I loved the power behind it and the saftey of it. The heating system in it sucked big time

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: has many features, drives very smooth

Cons: back row seating isn't that easy to access

Great Vehicle For Ohio's Snow — Engine sounds nice, has a decent stock sound system. Great for hauling golf clubs, and really anything for that case. Not the greatest on gas but what can expect from a 4WD SUV? Its can move pretty well on the freeway though.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great in the snow

Cons: Dont want to pay alot for gas

This Is A Good Make And Model Of Durango — I like it because it has enough room to haul friends and my drums around, and it's comfortable. It has good power to get up and go and is fun to drive on the highway or off road when need be.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: comfort and hauling capacity

Cons: none

Good Looking Solid Reliable Vehicle — The automatic model selection had no trim levels. My Durango was an SLT with the 4.7L V8. I really enjoyed it, but when gasoline started approaching $4.00 per gallon, I decided it was no longer economical to drive, so I traded it for my '04 Explorer. In retrospect, I should have kept it. The MPG wasn't that bad considering its size and weight. I got between 14 and 19 MPG overall. I liked everything about it, except the little irritating clickety-clack the valvetrain components made on a cold start. Other than that, the 4.7L V8 was the "little engine that could"...It would out-muscle engines of much larger displacement and horsepower ratings. Transmission was excellent, though a little mushy feeling. It never gave me trouble though. The interior was somewhat utilitarian looking and very truck-like. This comes as no surprise since the Dakota pickup is its sibling. I'd definitely recommend a 1st gen (1998-2003) Dodge Durango to anyone.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Unique styling, excellent drivetrain, very good build quality

Cons: A bit thirsty at the gas pump

Nice Truck, Id Buy Another One Or Recommend It To A Friend — good truck, could use a lil more power, but over all pretty good truck. suspension could be beefed up more and a higher stance would be nice also! 4wd could also be beefed up a bit. but thats my opinon on how i drive it.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: nice truck

Cons: week suspension and 4wd
