Wonderful In Every Way — Safe and extremely controllable. I never had any issues with this vehicle whatsoever. I drove it daily, it was great on gas and handling. The insurance is also affordable. The sunroof added to the whole experience. It feels very roomy and will comfortably seat five people.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Family friendly, safe, dependable, I loved this vehicle very much.

Cons: Acceleration was a bit slow

I Love My Sebring.... Why Do You Cause Me So Much Pain — I have had my car since 2002... I bought it brand new ..... As my car got older things started happening... replaced transmission, new radiator, and two batteries... etc.... Over ten years and it has been a great car. I am looking to get my baby back on the road.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I like this car because it is sleek.  I like that it picks up quick

Cons: Seems to be a lot of issues as the car gets older but it is to be expected

Fun & Dependable Car! — Love this car. Has nice bit of power to it and has been very dependable over the years. Handles nicely on the road. Not great for big backseat passengers - but great for little ones or dogs. Added a bluetooth radio for handsfree talking - but with top down this can be a bit noisy - but hey, it's a convertible - crank the music and enjoy the ride! Was my nannie's car when my kids were little so very low mileage used mainly to take them to/from school and activities.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Love this car.

Cons: Can be noisy - can't always use bluetooth cell phone.  Particularly if top is down.

Loved It Even With Much Maintenance — I loved my Chrysler Sebring Convertible even with the many sensors gone bad. I loved it even more with a second pair of front struts. I only replaced the battery once in the 5 years of ownership. I wasn't ready to see this car go but it blew the water pump and head gasket on the highway. The value of the car was $1500 and the repairs were $1800-$3000. It was recommended to just replace the whole engine. Many mechanics wouldn't even take that repair.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very roomy for a convertible car. Top is easy to operate.

Cons: Engine failure after 94,000 miles, struts replaced twice, sensor failure, headlights frogged over, very loud, back window leaks, small tears in roof at joints.

Good Reliable Car — great car - I have had this for 8 years now (bought it with 33k miles on it) and over all it has served me well. I did have to replace the transmission when I first bought it but I flush the transmission every 30k miles religiously and now have 144k miles on it with no major issues like that anymore.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: over all value

Cons: not much, just keep up on the transmission

Top Down Delight — The good: drives very nice, good gas mileage (in 20s both highway @ 80 mph and city); incredible heater, just a beautiful auto. Great fun to drive, especially with top down. No mechanical problems so far. The not so good: poor traction in snow, worse on ice; top doesn't seal well. The 2001 2.7 engine is reputed to need frequent oil changes to avoid sludge buildup.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun, wind in your hair.

Cons: no probles so far, so can't say why to avoid (can't stand girls?)

Love This Car! — I've had my Sebring for about 4 years now. It's overall a great car. Fast, low maintenance, decent on gas mileage and you can beat the crap out of these things and they'll still run!I would recommend this car to anyone without kids.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fast, low maintenance, durable!

Cons: Small interior,battery problems

The Car Was Super Nice.. Just Dissapointed In The Engine — I really liked the overall car. The appearence and interior were great. It also got great gas mileage. The only thing I can say though is if you do get one make sure that it does not have a 2.7 engine. They all go to crap real fast

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It is a really roomy car but still sporty  looking.

Cons: If it has a 2.7 lt engine do not buy it

Worth Every Penny. — This car was one of the best I've ever owned. Acceleration was excellent, it needed no repairs, cost was average, it was a blast to drive and the appearance was incredible then and is still today! I'd buy it again.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Performance

Cons: Appearance

This Is Why Chrysler Went Bankrupt — Bought in 2004, used with high miles. BIG mistake. These were made when Chrysler's 2.7 V6 was new, and they made some mistakes in the engine design that caused them to sludge up and then the engine blows. Six months or so after I bought this car I was on I-70 near Fredrick, MD when the engine decided to blow. Spent $300 at a service station, started back home, made it about 5 miles. Engine was done. Had to trade it in blown up....don't reccomend it. Its 2010 and I am still paying for that mistake. DO NOT BUY ONE. The four cyl. version is ok, from what i understand.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: nice looking car, fun to drive, good mileage, good for trips.

Cons: Engine blew just after 100000 miles with no warranty. Owned it maybe 6 months. Do Not Buy One....You Have Been Warned!
