Would a 19565R15 tire fit a 2001 nissan altima gle?
Looking to buy snow tires: recommend size is 205/55 R16. Are there other sizes that would fit the rig?

The Nissan Altima, which was due for a redesign the next year, saw no significant changes for 2001.
The 2000 Altima came in five trims: the base XE, the midrange GXE, the sporty SE and SE Limited, and the luxury GLE. The GXE was the most popular model, and the GLE came standard with leather seating and a power driver's seat. All Altimas in the lineup shared a 2.4 liter, 150 horsepower four cylinder engine. Fuel economy is 21/29 mpg.
Drivers like the 2000 Nissan Altima mostly because it is a good value without feeling cheap. Drivers also praise the car's reliability, comfort, and ample trunk space. Some owners have had trouble with the paint chipping, and some find the styling to be bland inside and out.

Car drives awesome. Very reliable and comfy. I have had the car since july
2005 and have had minimal trouble with it. Leather seats, and custom low
profile wheels. Sun/Moon roof makes for a great drive in any weather.Apr 26, 2011

Performance: Somewhat brisk acceleration, though nothing to put your head back into your seat. Handling is pretty lackluster, but then again this isn't a track car.
Quality: Build quality is decent. We've had to put in a fair amount of money on maintenance issues.
Appearance: Nothing special. The next generation Altima has this one beat by a mile.

Performance - acceleration is great, handles great, and great ABS
Build quality - I got it when it only had 75,000 miles on it and it now has 134,??? had to repair very little and low cost things with it.

nice 2.4 car, its almost a 14 sec. car, perfect handling and
power but they gt work on the appearance. its too low and
the dashboard is ugly however u find it amazing the sec. u
press the accelerator. if u r a drifter thn search for a better

My 2001 Altima GXE is the most reliable car I know of, as of know I've never had any serious issue's. It also has a potent 2.4L, and takes mods well. I currently have Stillen Rotors, H&R Pads, K&N filter, TYC euro tail lights, and a UR PulleySep 13, 2008

I only had this car for about 3 years, but loved it everyday I had it!

2001 Nissan Altima Thermostat Housing
I’m trying to fix a 2001 Nissan Altima with a 2.4L KA24DE-A engine. The thermostat housing (11061-F4405) has sprung a leak. It’s badly-corroded and does not appear to be repairable. While there are plenty of outlet tubes, the housing itself has apparently been discontinued. Is there a “workaround” or a part from another engine that can be utilized?
