Better Than A Ford — comfort, power, dependability. Bought it used with 68K it now has 188K and is as strong as ever. I am not picky on appearance, I want it to work when I need it. This truck is good looking and dependable

Pros: work and family truck, does it all in style, 21 mpg hwy, lots of power,

Cons: none

Excellent, Runs Great With 200k Miles — extended cab is great, I got the LT model, heated leather seats are great. Z71 off road 4x4 great in the snow, I could not get stuck in 3 foot drifts from a complete stop. best truck I've owned. period

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I got the Z71, great in snow. very dependable. I've had it 10 years, 200K miles, replaced plugs, wires, hoses, fuel pump, starter and alternator, cam seal, but engine and tranny still great

Cons: 14mpg, little rough on the potholes

Fun — A fun truck to drive. pritty quick on road and dirt. Awsome off-roading. The gas milage is ok for a truck. fastest type of truck on the market. Has black leather intirior wich makes it look nicer than most others.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun

Cons: a little costly to bye parts

Reliable, And Gets The Job Done. — It runs great, and I have had no engine troubles. It's 10 years old and only has 60,000 miles on it. I's a reliable vehicle unlike a ford, for it actually starts in the winter on the first try. It's a great make. I would recommend this vehicle to anybody. I would not recommend buying a ford.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: It's reliable

Cons: eats gas

Great Looker, Great Runner, Bad On Gas, Too Big For Most Parking Spots, Fun To Drive (for A Truck) —

This truck is great for its age. It runs like brand new. It can still accelerate like nobody's business and is also able to stop on a dime. It's a little pricy when it comes to gas, especially when you're a student working for minimum wage and driving everywhere. Oh well, can't win 'em all! Never needs repairs, just maintenance. Sometimes when the air conditioner is running it makes really loud noises while accelerating, almost like a schoolbus engine. Other than that, the truck is flawless. The designers who created the interior should be applauded. The dashboard has not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 ports for cell phone chargers and other items. The radio's buttons are perfect for changing while driving, they allow the driver to keep their eyes on the road. The seats are pretty comfortable which is good for long rides. The backseat is also very roomy considering that there is not a full door. I've never heard anybody complain about the back seat leg room. The center console is HUGE and holds CDs, pens/pencils, paper, gum, and is perfect for stowing valuables, and there couldn't be anymore cupholders. I feel crazy to be saying this, but this truck is actually fun to drive. It hugs windy roads and makes it so much fun to accelerate through turns and hills. It does great on the highway too, nothing holds this car back. One thing though that is not fun is parking it. Parallel parking is okay because the mirrors are so big and have such a worldly view, but parking in just a normal parking spot is a chore. Most parking lots aren't big enough to be able to make a wide turn and shallow turns just won't work. Usually it takes a few maneuvers to fit into a tight spot.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great for a tradesmen with a family.

Cons: Do not buy to use as a commuter car because gas will kill you.

Lots Of Potential — 5.3L V8 + shift kit + posi trac = a good time. lots of acceleration and little body role. clear coat is peeling and slight body damage. interior is in great condition. prolly gets 13 mpg in town and 18 mpg on the highway. i'm running synthetic oils, duralast ceramic brake pads, and just had my tranny rebuilt. running goodyear tires, all around tire...like to get lose at 2 grand. all in all its a blast to drive. hard to beat american muscle.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: lots of torque. lacks in top end. turbo should fix that.

Cons: curb magnet lol
