Ruby 01 Camaro Ss Z28 — The power is awesome, however if not experienced can get away from you very quickly. The look is very sleek, the hoodscoop says it all. Because it is a sports car requires high maintence, expensive gas, expensive oil etc. Not a family car, back seat is very tiny and very uncomfortable and i'm 5'0 its still to small for me. It handles a curve with ease. I have had no problems with it except water pump and that was at 101,000 milies for a v8 gas economy is pretty good, unless you put cheap in or dont fill past a half a tank.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The look, and the performance

Cons: everything is so expensive

The Best Gm Product Other Than A Truck Or Vette Hands Down. — The best GM product other than a truck or vette hands down. With the power of a LS1 to boot you will not find a better sports car from 2001 other than a Corvette, GT40, or Viper made by a American automotive group. Only downfall to these rides is the 10 bolt rear posi unit which cannot withstand a good thrashing. They should have went with a 12 bolt posi unit instead. Also, the 4L60E transmission should have been a 4L80E due to the thrashing purposes again. Reason why I believe Chevrolet didnt use these options? WEIGHT! Not a family car by any means, but with gas mileage of 24-28 mpg's for a car that is now 10 years old bordering 11 years old you cannot go wrong.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Sleek sexy fast and dependable.

Cons: Cant feel comfortable driving in winter.

Great Style And Performance Yet Cheap To Drive — Great performance from the V6, plenty of power but still get 19/25 mpg. Car often brings compliments, great drive with the top down, has very good aerodynamics/slipstream with the top off, not loud, easy to talk on the phone etc at speed. Tight responsive steering, go find a curvey road and let her fly!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Super handling

Cons: Back seat not too good for adults

2001 Camaro — Very good car. Accelerates to 60 in under 5.5 seconds, 1/4 mile in low 13's no problem. Brakes and handles pretty darn well for what it is too. Haven't had a single problem with it reliability wise. Good gas mileage for what it is...17-18 city, 26 Highway

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: acceleration, handling, all around great power

Cons: none, unless you count gas mileage

The Camaro — This is one of 502 black SLP SS ever made. Cheap bang for the buck! * Performance - acceleration = great, braking = pretty dang good, handling = pisspoor * Build Quality - Motor is great quality, interior is lacking * Appearance - both interior and exterior look so so... * Cost of Ownership - 20-mpg * Fun Factor - car and power is fun, no traction is not fun

Pros: 5.7L with a crap ton of torque

Cons: uhmmmm having to replace the rear tires so frequently

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fast and won't break the bank.

Cons: If you like mustangs
