Everyday Reliability With Little Frills. — It is what it is. A four cylinder family car. It has all of the options except for the ABS and leather. But it's not very classy for appearance. It's gas mileage is always around 30, and requires very little maintenance. T really don't have many complaints it does what it needs to and doesn't let me down it only has about 78,000 on it which for a Toyota is just getting broke in. It's only fun if you like cars with little horsepower and Lots of body roll.

Pros: Excellent reliability and gas mileage.

Cons: Little power and handles poorly.

It Gets Great Gas Mileage And Keeps Miles Off My Fun Cars, Aside From That It's A Total Pile Of Crap — This car just turned 35,000 miles and it's been a pain in my butt. I've gone through both O2 sensors, Fuel Pump, MAF Senor, Brakes, Dash rattles, Hard Shifting transmission, erratic acceleration. Aside from the gas mileage and the fact that I don't care about it much it's not worth owning. I'd light it on fire if it weren't worth $$$

Pros: Gas Mileage...

Cons: Slow, Cramped, Noisy, Can't turn off the Check Engine Light, Less reliable than my Chrysler

My Dear Old Rolla —

I owned this car from July 9th 2005 until June 7th 2007. Only one owner ahead of me. When I bought this car it was only driven 80 thousand km despite it was 5 years old. When I sold the car the km status was in 130 thousand km. I had small accidents with the car: In Autumn 2005 I was driving into the parking lot at my former parents-in-law place, but when I was turning into the parking lot my former sister-in-law drove her parents car backwards out of the parking lot, and bang! right on the driver's door. I had 60 glass pieces removed from my arm. The whole drivers door had to be swapped. In Autumn 2005 I was driving in a bad snow weather and I unexpectedly drove my side into another car that had driven half out of the road. This left some bad scratches in the right side of the car. In the summer of 2006 I was driving a summer road in a late evening, I went into a hole on the road and damaged my oil pan. The performance was very good, it was very quick and smooth. I miss this car, especially in the depression, because it only used around 6-7 liters per 100 km.

Pros: Very fast, smooth, economic and good

Cons: Too low for my opinion, engine problems after an accident

Totota — Loved this car. Great on fuel . Even shipped it to Perth when I moved there. Travelled well on the drive back to NSW. But was very easy to speed in & not realise you were going that fast on the open road.

Pros: Great little car

Cons: It was two small when kids in the back kicking your seat.

Old Faithful — Performance wise = 5/10 (Stock standard perfomance) Build Quality = 8/10 (it's well build without fancy curves) Appearence = 5/10 (on the I still have lots to do to make eye-catching) Cost of Ownership = decent amount of money (blown top gasket) Fun Factor = 7/10 (it's ok) It's a known fact that toyota carollas are very overpriced becuase of it's popularity and it was like that in my case when I bought this car...so next time i'll look long and hard before attempting to buy another car (hopefuly this time a spanking new one!)

Pros: Reliable, Dependable, Steadfast, Unswerving.... you name it!

Cons: Acceleration

My Experience — Bought this car with 150K miles on it for pretty cheap in order to save a sports care from my attempt to learn to drive stick. It now has an 03 engine in it because the original threw a rod, but the tranny now has over 200K miles on it and I am getting an average of 34mpg. Now that I realize the costs and risks associated with vehichle ownership, I know I could never have a nice car, because I would care to much. And because of that, I like this piece of junk. It's not too bad, its like a front wheel drive second generation Miata in a straight line, as it only weighs 2400lbs (i have no spare tire or tools) and around 130hp w/ similar torque. Pretty creative way to try and praise a corolla huh?

Pros: Fuel Economy, Lightweight, Liability-Only Conscience Needed ;)

Cons: Nothing specific, I got what I paid for.

2000 Toyota Corolla — It looks horible stock. But you can put work into it and they look half-way decent. It is a good first car to learn how to drive stick (If you have the right teacher.) but yeah. I recommend this car to a friend. you should try to find a cheap, and one between 2000-2006.

Pros: They look nice supped up.

Cons: It's not a 2008-09.

I Love My Corolla :) — This is a really great car. It gets great gas mileage and is really good in the snow. It's also nice and small so it's easy to parallel park it. The only thing I don't like is that it's 4 cylinders so it takes a lot to get up the mountain that I happen to live on.

Pros: great gas mileage, handles well, good in snow

Cons: needs more power!
