This Is My Second (and Counting). If You Want An Enclosed 4x4, This Is The One! — I love the Toyota quality. I love that the seats fit me just perfectly. The much maligned seating position actually works for me. The best thing is the roll-down rear window. No other vehicle comes as close to open air cruising except the Del Sol. Open the sunroof and the back window, and you get 90% of the cooling of windows with 20% of the noise!

Pros: Toyota quality, rear roll down window, off road performance in stock form

Cons: Jiggly ride, mileage, kind of cramped back seat, expanse

Fantastic Drive — Fantastic truck, great ride, smooth driving, we travel across country in this car and it has done well. Very low maintenance car, as long as you do regular maintenance it will last forever. Very comfortable, fun to drive, seated high up in car, plenty of storage space in back. Toyota is the best car on the market.

Pros: This make is by far superior to all others

Cons: Sorry haven't got any of those yet

So Far, It's Great! — Bought my 2000 4Runner SR5 3.14 2WD automatic Sport Package in September 2007. It had 60,000 miles on it and has been trouble free so far. I like the solid feel and quality workmanship in this vehicle. I would recommend the Toyota brand to anyone looking for quality.

Owner for 0 years, 6 months

Miles Driven per Year:11,000

Pros: Solid, well-built, nice looking

Cons: below average gas milage 12mpg city, 18mpg highway; very stiff ride

Good Running, Well Maintained — My daughter loved this vehicle, she took my Rav4 for better gas mileage. So I had a professional weld on a new cover on the rear axle to fix the leak that these vehicle normally suffer from. It has some rust but what NY vehicle doesn't? heat is great, new radiator (because I read the original eventually has issues with transmission fluid).

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: these vehicles are great in snow, its what they are made for

Cons: 17 to 25 mpg
