Class, Style And Performance, The Best Of All Worlds. — Great V8 torque and power. The styling and ride quality expected from Mercedes-Benz. Very solidly built inside and out; all the details were thought through. Very easy to work on, but you probably won't have to since its built like a tank.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its a Mercedes.

Cons: If you haven't yet realized Mercedes builds the best cars in the world.

I Would Buy This Car New, Again. — Great driving car.....31 mpg....0-60 in 5.1 sec. ...lacks the comfort on long drives. Expensive to repair but the safety aspect of the car is outstandng. Driving at high speeds is much safer than in all other cars, inclucing a BMW I used to own. When new, features of this car were and still is ahead of American cars. Quality of materials is superior to American cars....i.e. windshield fends off cracks where American cars are more prone to chip and etch.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Safety

Cons: comfort

Not The Mb Of Years Gone By. — Rust problems and paint chip issues beyond belief. I have owned 3 prior MBs and all together not near the issues as this car. Light bulb failures as well as other electrical issues. Local dealer in Erie PA says "we'll trade you out"....now mind you the car only had 40k at 6 years old. Nothing but bad all over the internet regarding the rust issues.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Solid, comfortable.

Cons: Known rust problems, known electrical problems, lousy dealer support

The Best Car We've Ever Owned — 0-60 in 4.5-5 secs, 450 horsepower, 460 foot pounds of torque, single tone interior; gray, 24 miles per gallon around town, 29 miles per gallon highway, this car is built really solid we have had no problems with it so far owned it for over a year probly closeto 2 years no annoying squeaks or rattles, this car looks awsome but not particulary fast so we blow away compotition when they don't expect it, i haven't driven it but my brother and dad say it's alot to handle and it's fun

Pros: fast and powerful sounds good

Cons: none

2000 M.benz E240 Review — Benz's Car has the quality it is supposed to be. I had owned the car for almost 7 years; there wasn't any major problem with this car. I am fully satisfied with the quality. But, the appearance is just a bit too matured for myself; i have no choice but to find another car which fits to my age. Overall, it is a great car!

Pros: Great Quality

Cons: Not much!

Perfect For Scca Driver In The 60's — Even though I enjoy comfortable things more than when I was 20, I still appreciate a car that responds well to proper (sometimes happily radical) inputs. The sport suspension works well with the proper tires, and the brakes are amazing! Driving cross country is a breeze, as the cruise control works at 140 plus.. Gas mileage was a surprise. 17 to 18 in town and 27 at 75 on the highway. (Same as my wife's Subaru Forester) The 4Matic engages a bit harshly in the snow, but works. Some of the controls are a challenge even with the manual.

Owner for 1 years, 6 months

Miles Driven per Year:15,000

Pros: Stress free driving at speed; solidity; sound system; engine.

Cons: difficulty finding performance parts;dealer costs.(found alternative)

Set The Standard For Uber Sport Sedans — The M5 had always been known as the Yuppie powerhouse sedan; that's what made the E55 that much more fun to play with! The unexpected potency of this car shocked many BMWs, Porsches, Audis...Vettes and Mustangs! In the category of elegant family car with the heart of an F-16, this car is a value and a blast to drive. A hand-built and signed engine, wow.

Pros: Fast, agile, comfortable, spacious, fun in every way.

Cons: Repairs may require a second mortgage.

Fastest Sedan I've Been In Yet — Hand built by AMG. It has stock 350hp/391ft lbs, and four door. Pulls harder and faster than most mustangs, and vettes. Great solid car with gorgeous looks that last a lifetime. 0-60 times in nomore than 5.5 secs.

Pros: Fast, four doors for fitting more friends. Hey it's a Benz!

Cons: Since it is a Benz and it's an AMG, it can be pricey to fix, but it hasn't been too bad considering

Crap Chrysler — The first year merger of Mercedes-Benz with Chrysler...quality went out the window. Owed for about 1 year and although this car had low mileage, it soaked me for about $3k in sensor repairs.

Pros: classy...feels like driving a couch

Cons: toilet mechanics
