Go-anywhere Fun!! — Off-road wonder, smooth shifting 5 speed manual, torquey motor. Surprisingly confident on paved roads as well.

Pros: Go anywhere, take the doors and top of for those beautiful summer days.

Cons: Noisy and cd player is finicky.

My Jeep — I like the sound system I put into it... I wish I could add more but with limited space there isn't much that I can do... The Overall performance is alright... It gets the job done off-roading but overall speed, I need the edge performance pack to help out in that dept.

It's A Jeep! — It is a Jeep. The gas mileage sucks and there is not much room to haul more then one person or too much stuff, but other then that I absolutely love it. I've gone off-roading with it and it is all stock, no problems with that as long as you know your limits, which are quite high.

Pros: Taking the top down and doors off on hot summer days/nights. No worries in snow. It's a Jeep. Tons of fun.

Cons: Horrible gas mileage, lack of space. Rear wheel drive is tricky in snow and ice, but 4 wheel drive takes care of that.

Amazing Vehicle With Even More Amazing Off Road Capabilities. — Aside from its rough gas mileage and its high rollover rate Jeeps are incredibly well built meaning as the mileage begins to rack up the less problems you'll eventually encounter. As for performance its acceleration lacking and if you own a stick shift model the close gear ratios that you need for off-roading will become annoying on daily drives. It does however have relatively decent handling and high good torque (needed for offroading.) Overall, if you are the outdoors type who like to have fun on dirt rather than asphalt then the Jeep is the perfect match.

Pros: Four wheel drive, convertible top, manual transmission.

Cons: High rollover rate, Gas mileage could be better, Sluggish acceleration. People mooching
rides cause you have the only convertible.

Looks Good In Yellow — I have driven this jeep from the day I started driving. It has never let me down, both on and off road. Definitely a true rock-crawler, the only thing better than a jeep is another jeep.

Pros: Great off-road performance, exterior looks, manliness,

Cons: gas mileage, interior

Great In The Mud. Will Surprise You! — Gotta get a standard trans. That is the essence of Jeep wrangler.

Pros: Great fun in the mud. Fair amount of seating.

Cons: Once the mileage gets up there and you start playing in the mud it can get expensive

The Perfect Automobile — how couldn't you love an SUV with a drop top???

Pros: Convertible, V6 power, 4x4 from the best, fun all year round

Cons: hard top is 2 person job, most un-aerodynamic car on the road, shaky at 75mph

It's A Jeep Thing. — Great vehicle, interior is dirty and meant to be. Exterior is clean, sometimes.

Pros: off road ability

Cons: I don't see anything as a con.  I like getting crappy gas mileage.

Overall A Great Vehicle For What It Is - It's A Jeep Afterall. Nothing More Or Less. — Overall a great little vehicle, it has never gotten me into anything that it couldn't get us out of. That's pretty much what the TJ, YJ, CJ Jeeps do. 2000 is the last year of the true "Iron Duke" engine. These were the 2.5 Liter and 4.0 Liter Iron Block engines manufactured by American Motors Corporation. The last of the 4.0 Liter "Iron Duke" engines were used in the 2000 production of the Jeep Wranglers manufactured by Chrysler.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Goes anywhere with the 4 Wheel Drive, and can turn on a dime.

Cons: Not much room to haul cargo.

My First Vehicle, I Love It, — The TJ in my opinion is the best Jeep to buy, doesn't have all the electronic crap that the JK has yet is still more modern then the YJ and has all the creature comforts that a modern car has. Easy to modify. Coils all around. Solid axles front and back. And a highly capable trail rig with little modification. Not a great daily driver mostly because in my opinion the gas mileage is really poor with a lift and tires. But the motor still has plenty of power to get where you need to go. Build quality is great. Jeeps put up with alot of abuse, and i really have learned to appreciate them because of this

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its a jeep :) Easy to work on, Super customizable, great trail rigs, fun to drive, nice to cruise around in, Way of life

Cons: Just Empty Every Pocket
