Fast Fun Car For A Single Person. — This is the only new car I ever bought and I owned it up until I had my second kid and it was totally impractical. Very reliable, the V6 was VERY powerful and fun to drive. The design of the doors and quarter panels seemed to dent easily. I had the leather package but the sides of the seats are made of plastic and crack--that was disappointing. I thought the sound system sounded great. The back seat lays down and I could get some pretty long objects in the car (including skis).

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very fun fast car, good looks for its day, comfortable bucket seats in front and plenty of space for a very tall person.

Cons: Not much head room in the back seat, not a family car at all but it's a two-door.  The speedometer read about 5 mph fast which was a trick to get used to at first.  I thought it was a defect but the dealer told me they would replace it but it would cause the title to read mileage unknown so I left it.

2000 Honda Accord Coupe LX Review
ColbyM1992 says:
The particular Accord Coupe I drove had high miles (228,000+), but had been well maintained by the previous owners. Even though the body was in rough shape the interior was spacious and comfortable. The car had only ever been to Honda dealerships or Honda/Acura specific privately owned repair shops. The most I ever had to do with my Accord (aside from regular maintenance) was replace the fuel cap and downstream oxygen sensor.

Handling Ranked 2011 Scion xD Release Series 3.0 worse.
"The Accord offered that iconic Honda steering feel and response and hugged the corners even with its twenty year old suspension. The Scion just bounced around and was very prone to understeer."
Would Buy Ranked 2011 Scion xD Release Series 3.0 worse.
"Quality and practicality plain and simple."
