Love The Room And Crash Ratings! — Good quality, cheap cost of ownership any one can do repairs if needed. Low theft risk. Good safety ratings. Like the truck like look, when you see one on the road they are often mistaken for a F250 or F350 from the front.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Love the room, looks and safety features.

Cons: The gas mileage can be improved.

Heavy Duty, Dependable, Tough Ass And Still A Luxury Vehicle — this truck has style and performance with a v10 engine... never has givin any problems, and will never as long as there is always proper maintainance...as any owner should remember! only 1 recall from ford on the cruise control peice...wich ford took care of... gas prices do not help since she averages just about 15 mph highway....but with a knn air filter put on ...that helps a bit...big truck strong hauling capabilities and still lux looking interrior...leather seats wood grain dash peice and console... we love it!!

Pros: its a v10...its a ford!!!

Cons: gas prices!!!!$$$$$$

Its Ford Haha — white exterior, handles bumbs very well; you can get some air on some =]. corners are kinda scary if they are sharp i guess. speed isnt a problem. tons of space inside, has 8 seats. great overall "car", ford should have kept making them. =[

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: V10 triton

Cons: nothing its ford =]

Big — I have the 7.3. Lots of torque but could use more HP. I have a 4 inch lift and it gets a little sluggish with acceleration. Good towing capacity though. The handling is also something to be desired, as expected with a 9000lbs truck.

Pros: The turbo

Cons: Handling/acceleration

A Great Vehicle — It is the best Rig I have ever owned very reliable and comfortable. It also has good fuel economy because of the diesel engine. It hauls the whole family and pulls my trailo, and because of the cargo space I don't give up any seating when I want to load it.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Great Family Truck, Fits The Kids And Has Room For A Hummer On The Roof. — Its a Police Interceptor V-10 XLT Package. Fast and Solid Ride , oversized rotors and oil cooled transmission. No frills police package, only basics. Bought with 24,000 miles and currently @ 90,000 miles with only a few problems in the past 8 years ( nothing really bad or costly ) . Love to eat brakes and rotors for breakfast ,lunch, and supper. Great investment and has paid for itself more than once. Hauls everything from my bulldozer to my horses. Built Ford Tough . Pulled my share of vehicles from ditches / snow storms and hard to get places.

Pros: Great People Mover / Great Handling, Strong Engine & Transmission.  Reliable and faithful. Overall great value if you have money for gas !!!! Great bang for buck.

Cons: Premature Undercarriage Surface Rust, Eats Breaks and Rotors, Hubs Seized at 45,000 mile, Only get 10-12 miles per gallon, Tuneups are impossible.

Got To Get One If U Dont Have One!!!! — This SUV is the top of the line in Land yachts. The Electra 225 started it and the Ford Excursion redefined it!!! The thing i really love about my truck is the space had a gmc suburban before the ford and i know the troubles chevy put out in those suv's. As far as gas the in town is about 11.3 and the hwy gets up to about 14. I can do everything i need with this SUV the only thing i wish it had was the power folding 3rd row seat.

Owner for 6 years, 4 months

Miles Driven per Year:24,000

Pros: Biggest SUV ever and more comfortable then my Benz S500

Cons: Not all parking lots are created equal so park out away from everyone else!!!!

Avoid, Go Get A Suburban Instead — Had it for 2 months and was glad to be rid of it. Terrible handling, horrible gas mileage and poorly built.

Pros: Fit 8 people comfortably (I would say even better than the Suburban), tons of cargo space.

Cons: Big, ugly and handled like crap. Inside felt plasticky and cheap.  Gas mileage is the worst I've ever seen.
