Safe And Runs Great — Lots of fun to drive. It's good for a person who doesn't want a large truck.

Pros: Very nice inside and out

    Cons: Cannot haul trailers

Good Looking, Lots Of Power, Larger Bed Then Other Small Trucks — Dakota has lots of power from the 4.7 V8. It's easy to drive. Love the larger size bed than that of other small pickups.

Is The Funnest And Best Car Ive Ever Drivin — th etruck is soo fun to drive with the performance diff in it. my parents gt it for $1,400 and that aint a type o thats real with taxes it was about $1,600. the truck isnt to great foe hauling stuff but it survived pulling a very heavy 86 fircbird up hill for 5 hours and has survied about 6 wners and still handels like a dream. performance- well it has the v6 magnum in it with the performance diff in it so it acelerates faster than a 2002 grand am ram air. no joke. can spinn the tires on dirt and graval easy. not gonna try on the pavement tho. build quality. its build very well but if some thing happens it is ushally a bit of a pian in the ass to change it if it interior. exterior is easy to change apperance it look butiful with the blue body and the FAKE hood scoops lol. the interior is very nice and easy to clean. cost- well its about the same on gas as a 1990 gmc searra with a 305 in it casue of the performance diff in it other than that its pritty good. fun- this is by far the funnest vehicl ive ever driven including atv's go carts and dirt bikes and having a working radio and the whole dash board in it make the diffrence and makes it feel so rigth

Pros: the past car ive ever drivin

Cons: the only reason i wouldnt get this truck is casue of the gas it use so i would segust one with the normall diff

Badass 'lil Mofo — Performance- Some pretty decent acceleration for a truck. VERY touchy brakes. Has some ballsy handling. Build Quality- Shopping cart ran into it, and my uncle backed his chevy colorado into it..put a big dent in left rear. Appearance- Styling is flashy for a 2000. Interior ehhh not so much..outdated. Cost Of Ownership- Gets about 16 mpg sooo not to bad. Fun Factor- Hell yeah! Awesome lil toy.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Pros: Its fast and fun to drive. Clean for a 2000. Hes 200,000 miles strong and still running.

Cons: Cons: It has a limited slip rear end..wish it had posie.

2000 Dodge Dakota Slt Clubcab 4x4 3.9l V6 — Over all decent truck. This model years engine has numerous problems though (3.9L V6). Problem with engine sludge. See alot of people replacing this year engine at 60k miles and the tranny at 40k miles. So far so good here at 46k miles, Knock on wood. Bogs down really bad between 45 - 55 mph, then resumes normal drive.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: 4x4 works great, decent hauling room and power.

Cons: Engine sludge, door lock mechanisms are crap, horrible on gas, seats are crap.

Where Is The Trails — Able to go places that I am shocked that it can go. Could use the bigger V-8. Fuel economy is by far not the greatest. Fun in the snow, mud, going over logs, and climbing over small boulders. The tires mean everything

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Off Road

    Cons: Fuel economy
