Josh's 2000 Impala Ls — So this is my 2000 Impala LS, it has the 3.8L with a JMB Performance fender well intake and pacesetter 3" cat-back exhaust. I also have KYB AGX struts, GMPP front and rear sway bars, ZZP billet dog bones, pogo eliminators, and ZZP front and rear sway bars. As far as appearance goes theres alot so the basics are full body kit, Mezzano 20" wheels w/Nitto Invo tires, Dutchspeed front grille, tinted windows, Streetglow 7-color LED underbody kit, custom blue monte carlo ss gauges, and a 7" in-dash touchscreen kenwood unit.

Pros: just about everything.

Cons: transmission is starting to slip? and its not supercharged...yet.

Impala — The Chevy Impala is an amaizing car it has been very reliable and a good low profile car. It has been a lot of fun and has been on a few trips. It would be even better if it wasn't about to die!!

Pros: 107k miles and never had a major repair

Cons: old man car and about to die

2000 9c1 (x2) — Performance: 9C1 spec Impala's are, in comparison with the LS and base model, a world of a different car, Significantly stiffer suspension, they come standard with stabalizer bars and HD components to go alone with them. Even at 200k, the springs on my 1st 9C1 were stiff as a rock. Engine wise, they come with the same N/A 3800 Series 2 Motor that the LS's get, however the 9C1 has it mated to all HD gear and a higher ratio transmission, that really wakes up the 3800 and you'll notice it on takeoffs. Build Quality, Aside from general known issues with the 3800 powered cars (not so great trannys after 100k and lower intake gaskets.) Was very solid. Appearance was average, unique and IMO better than the current 06+ generation in looks. If you get an Impala with a solid tranny and that has already had the lower intake manifold fixed, these cars will last someone a VERY long time. 200k is easily hit on these cars. Fun Factor: A police car has fun written all over it.

Pros: Fun fun fun!

Cons: Standard GM issues, intake manifold, ISS and trannies.

Do Not Get The 2000 Impala — I loved the car however the injectors kept popping if you put gas into it. I had to replace them 3 times. Then there was a horrible popping noise and heard steering from the wheel. Then I had to have the computer replaced. it was a constant pain and GM declared it a lemon and Patriot Auto in Hopkinsville KY sold it to someone else and sold me a crappy Grand am

Pros: nice looking car drove nice when was working and great gas mileage

Cons: shorts and major repairs after 40,000 miles

2000 Impala Ls —

Lets start with how is looks first and work our way to the heart of it. Apperarance- For a 4 Door family car it looks unique. you know with out a doubt when you look at an impala you know it's an impala, though personally,to make my impala to look different from the thousand other impalas in the world i put a SLP LSX tail panel on to set it apart. overall in the looks department it looks good for what it needs to do, be a family car. Now the build quality. it's on par with the other cars in the category. After 198,000 miles it's just now starting to rattle on the inside. on the out side it's done great for the amount of miles on it, most think the car has less mileage on it then it really does. Cost of Ownership Cost of Ownership isn't that bad, you treat it well it will treat you well back. my gas mileage will range from 15mpg to 25mpg. repairs it it's 9 year history sums up to be under $1000. Fun Factor It's ok, awesome in snow, but it's not awd or rwd so your fun is limited. Performance Stock it's good for what it's made to do. Though i would love to have the supercharged Impala SS engine in it. Surprisingly this cars engine has a good aftermarket... so no issues raising the power to 300hp+

Pros: Great overall in every catagory

Cons: Could have more power and better handling.

2000 Chevy Impala — This car has great acceleration, and the handling is amazing. It has pretty good gas mileage 19 MPG city and 32 MPG highway. This car is very fun to drive. Mine only has 38,350 miles on it, and I love it!

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

About My Impala Ls — I wish it was an SS and had a sunroof !! Front pillars add for big blind spots. transmissions are junk, Car looks almost new again since the deer hit. Woody's Body Shop did an amazing job at matching the paint. Heck they even vaccuumed the interior and washed the exterior. I was surprised that the car still started after being washed. Overall the car is a good solid runner, looks sporty for a family car, and sounds good with the dual exhaust. !!

Pros: Roomie, runs good, styling is good

Cons: blind spots and not an SS

Great Car — Bought the car with 107k miles on it. Performes great, just put new goodyear triple treads on it and it handles like a dream. I also put a K&N COI and it just sucks air in. Gets up to speed really fast. I am having problems with abs but its probably just a bad sensor when they changed the tires out. But other than that no real problems.

Pros: Handling, acceleration, lots of aftermarket parts

Cons: not a v8 rwd

Nope — This would be a nice car for town but I have 32 miles of gravel to drive and it just did not hold up. Pretty car but just not built for me. Not good in mud or snow either. Too light for country people but good for town driving or highway.

Pros: Pretty car

Cons: Too light

Great Practical Car And Fun To Drive! — The acceleration is pretty good. It has a 3.8 litre V6. The braking could be a little better but not too bad. I needs a couple repairs but they are minor. Gas mileage is pretty good for a car its size. This car is very fun to drive when the weather is nice and the temperature is good because it has a sunroof and a nice loud radio.

Pros: It is good on gas and has very comfortable seats and ride!

Cons: Only negative is it's not fast enough...
