Sweet — Acceleration was very quick, smooth. Good handling in multiple conditions. Braking and suspension were good. The quality of the car was good and for the cost it was a great deal. The interior was luxury while the exterior could add a few touches. This car was definitely fun to drive. Pros: Sport tuned suspension and comfortable seats Cons: Expensive to maintain |

Saab 9-5 - Great Car — Performance - Fast enough to humiliate many a boy racer at the lights! Build Quality - Brilliant, no squeaks even after 10 years! Other than the Crankshaft Ventilation defect, perfect! Appearance - Not the best looks-wise, needs wheels larger than 15"! Cost of Ownership - Not bad considering it's size/performance- £1400 insurance, £80 fuel per month Fun Factor - Good to drive, can handle moderately well in the dry - keep an eye on the fuel consumption though! Pros: Performance, Build Quality, Rarity Cons: Cost, Appearance |

Saab 1999 9-5 Keeps Going — I love my 9-5. It is one of the most comfortable cars that I've ever ridden in. I put about 30k miles a year on it, so I need to like my car. It's fun to drive and still stylish after 10 years. Overall quality has been good. I've owned for 80k miles and have 190k on it total. I've had a few common Saab issues, but can't complain at all. Put it in sport mode and it's very fun to drive. It will jump in and out of traffic and keep up with anything that I encounter on the road. I love having a car rarely seen on the road and also performs on the high end. On quality... in 80k miles in two and half years I have had to replace air compressor, transmission mount, blower moter, and heater by pass valve.... so I've been happy. I've put $2500 in it, but most has been because of how much I drive. it drives like it has 50k miles on it and overall is just great car. Pros: ride at high speeds, turbo, comfort Cons: stock stereo bites, computer display issues |

Beastie — My car is a Beast, and is reliable and interestingly ugly. I loves her. Hmmm, it can get up to 650 miles per gas tank... shall I say more? I guess I have to say more due to this damn application. I am poetic. I am writing six more words. Pros: Cheap Cons: Ugly |

Saab 9-5 — Good when the turbo cuts in, but usually don't get good boost until second gear (30km-60km). Average from 0-80km, very good from 80km-180km ;) Saab parts are expensive, but can be imported yourself (I have done so) Service at SAAB is expensive - found good SAAB servicer in Perth though Gets about 9.0 litres per 100km Pros: Looks good, drives well Cons: Expensive compared to other luxury cars, doesn't hold value well |

Saab 9-5 — if your looking for something other tan a german plastic box everyone thinks is the bees knees then look no further than a saab. the 9-5 is well specced and has performance to match the smile it puts on your face. the reliability is great, nothing really major in 6 years of ownership Pros: great car for something different Cons: bad pcv kit can cause failure |

Hirsh 9-5 — twas st1 tuned by hirsch, looked fantastic limited to 155mph top speed.... safe comfy and still doing 32+mph on 99ron fuel in 9 years i have never had to put a drop of oil in this car between services (just as well with the price of mobil1)... best thing is the mid range poke.. quicker than a porshe911 in some scenarios from a family saloon Pros: swedish built Cons: now owned by GM, newer models are not as well made |

My First Car — Very fun because it's a standard. The one thing I don't like about the car is that it has a lot of little electrical problems. I love the drink holders. The high and low beams are very bright (good visibility). I love the color black always looks good for cars. Leather interior. Heated and air conditioned seats. Pros: Standard, leather interior, harmon kardon speakers, crazy drink holders, Cons: Electrical problems |

My 9-5 Lpt — My 3rd SAAB and despite the meddling by General Motors it remains a properly good car. Rides very well and gets good fuel economy.... and it goes around corners and accelerates pretty well. Much less expensive to maintain than a BMW, Benz, Volvo or even a Subaru. Pros: Stops and handles very well. I have the "S" model which is the base of the range but it still has heated seats, ACC, leather...... I get 27-28 mpg overall. Due to the lackluster resale value I only paid 4 grand. Easy to up the stock power output. Very strong in 2nd and 3rd gears due to the torque. Cons: The materials do not feel as "premium" as they did on my 1995 9000CSE. Whoever thought that doing away with the hatchback should be punched in the face. The LPT could use a bit more power (170bhp)... |

I Love It And They'll Probably Have To Bury Me In It. — I'm never getting rid of this car... I love it! It has a ton of power and all of the goodies and extras I now think I need.... like heated leather seats... and wipers on my headlights.... ahhhhh and the turbo engine. Pros: comfy, nice ride, lots of power, quiet, huge trunk, fold down back seats, heated seats, warms up quick Cons: repairs cost a fortune |
