Best Car Ever — one of the fastest car with a 1.6 engine and can beat cavalier v6's and saxo vts's with ease. abit underpowered until vtec kicks in then your pinned back in you seat all the way to 138 MPH :D

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: VTEC

Cons: MPG

Overall, A Good Car For The Weekend Racer. — Excellent car to tune up. I love using it as a project car. The one I'm working on is pretty fast and has power to spar even with destroyed parts. I recommend it to any one who is serious about tuning cars.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Very fun to drive.

Cons: Replacement parts can be tricky to find.

Vick — I love my civic. It is an awesome car. It gets about 31 MPG on the Highway and about between 31 and 36 in town depending on how hard I drive it. It is Stick shift so that is a lot of fun. It isn't the fastest car ever but it is fun to drive and looks slick.

Pros: Sexy car, Stick Shift

Cons: body is weak plastic. easy to catch on snow or really bad roads.

Everything You Already Knew About The Honda Civic. —

Well to sum it up in one word...its a Civic. There is no performance. It is about as fun to drive as they come. You can just absolutely thrash it for an hour and your still only doing 35mph. It will run forever and gets pretty good mileage and thats why I have it. So there is no cost of ownership. You pay for the car, 20 bucks to fill up the tank every two weeks and insurance. Thats it. Nothing breaks. Performance upgrades are a waste of money. I guess with a K20 swap and 5k in suspension and brakes it wouldn't suck...but after all that it still looks like your grandmother's Civic. The interior styling is nonexistent. The driving position is similar to an Odyssey of the similar year. Oh and forget about maintaining a constant speed with the air conditioning while going up any sort of incline. You'll have to turn it off and cross your fingers it makes it up at all. Or you could down shift into 3rd and spin it at 6k to it makes peak torque. Which doesn't hit triple digits, btw. The build quality is...adequate? It was built in Ohio and Americans have no pride for building Japanese cars. Therefore the build quality is fairly poor. It still has the solid reliability but the shut of a door makes you grit your teeth. Waxing the hood is risky because you'll probably cave it in getting the wax off. There are more rattles and squeaks than in my old man's '95 Sonoma. I could just go on and on about what a insignificant car this is. It is everything you knew about the Honda Civic. Slow. Everywhere. Uncomfortable. Cheap. If you have any passion for cars you can't own one of these and call it a 'nice' car. Its transportation that has the possibility to suck less. Thats all.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap. Reiliable.

Cons: Performance. Driving position. Build quality. Performance. Not a car guy's car.

My Next Car Will Still Be A Honda, But A 4-door With More Passenger Room And Perhaps More Power. — Don't look for acceleration power, but overall handling is good. Very reliable; has taken us over 200,000 miles. The exterior styling is sporty, but the interior is cramped for passengers. Good MGP at 35 hwy. It is fun to drive a 5-speed manual transmition.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: MPG, reliability, 5-speed manual, maneuverability

Cons: Passenger legroom, acceleration
