Awesomeness — It's boss. Little too much plastic, typical rugged jeep styling, Good power though motor can be a little sluggish at times, did I mention it's boss? Very fun to ride with the top and doors off and drive with the manual tranny.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun!

Cons: Far from a luxury vehicle

Bueno. — runs forever, 2.5l doesn't have enough power time to supercharge it.. has the aerodynamics of a shoebox and the weight of a pickup. off road cap.'s 5* and holds its value extremely well. all in all its a great first car if you are mechanically inclined and have saved up some money to put into it. "Just Empty Every Pocket" "Just Enough Essential Parts"

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: love it it will love you back

Worth It — everything on here was built nicely it does not need a lot of maintenance and it definitely holds its value well. i use it for both my winter vehicle and a trail riding weekend summer car too. the only thing that sucks is the gas mileage

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Four Wheel Drive Harley? — The 98 Jeep Wrangler, like most convertable jeeps, gives you open air freedom with the capability to go most anywhere straight from the factory. Dependability has been a quality of Jeep since 1941. It is not the ideal vehicle for a young family, but can be adapted (so playing is allowed). On a scale of 1 to 10 for me, the '98 TJ ranks well above an 8

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun is standard, roads are optional.

Cons: Stiff ride, visits the pump frequently, not a rocket.

1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport — I love my Wrangler. Beginning at the performance standpoint and continuing to the fact that it is easy to maintain and work on. I have had it for over 2 years and the only problems that I have had were a cracked radiator, which was easy to fix, and a leaking oil seal in the rear differential which is simple to replace with the right tools. Other than those problems, my Jeep has been through a lot and I am proud to say it. Hope it lasts another 20 years!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Almost everything

Cons: Gas consumption

I Will Keep It Forever! — Amazing in the summer. I have the top and doors off everyday. The hard top keeps it warm in the winter and it kicks ass on the snow. Awesome vehicle for anyone especially in college. Its always reliable and friends love it

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Amazing all around

Cons: Gas-Milage

98 Tj Wrangler —

Well, I rated performance at a four, because it's not a fast vehicle. Jeeps are torquie as hell, and for good reason. They're not meant to go fast. You want fast, I can't help you. Overall, the TJ is one hell of a four wheeler. But, then again, what Jeep isn't? One thing that Jeep stuck to was the design of their Wranglers. Very minimal changes to the cosmetics and suspension. The 4.0L H/O is a very good motor and is known to last well beyond 300,000 miles, if properly taken care of. Unfortunately, in 2007, the Wrangler JK was introduced bringing a V6, not the I6 as in previous model Wranglers. The V6 has its benefits, such as slightly higher gas mileage and more horsepower. Although, it's not good for off-roading because the torque isn't as present as it was in the I6 4.0L. I, myself, prefer the straight six over a V6 any day. Jeep has always made a strong product. I have had many Jeeps and they have gotten me out of some pretty nasty trouble. That's all I have to say. Again, overall, this vehicle is a blast to drive! What it lacks in space in the cab, it makes up in pure fun. If you want a good video of a Stock TJ, check out YouTube, you'll find a lot of videos there. Thanks for reading, and feel free to ask any questions!

Pros: Fun as hell to own and drive

Cons: For a taller person, it could use a little more space in the cab.
