It Has Been A Solid Car For 8 Years. — ES has full leather interior. Standard gauge and instrument panel for 1998 car. Car is 2 door but has roomy backseat and decent trunk.

Pros: Looks and reliability

Cons: OEM paint has faded badly

Seems Like A Nice Ride — i like the car for the most part, the turning sucks and the throttle responce was terrible till i upgraded with a chip

Cons: seems like a big delay on throttle response? had to upgrade with a chip to get a better response

V6 Mitsubishi Engine, 4-speed Automatic, Gold (not Red), Annoying Coustom Stereo. — Good for going in a straight line, corners good, good engine to look at under the bonnet, fair boot space, could do better for the bland interior.

Pros: speed
adgility (kinda...)
stelth looks (kinda...)
anti-lock breaks

Cons: Coustom stereo
color
can tell the stylings are from the 1990s

It Does Look Fast, No Commons On The Driving Dynamic... — it was a disappointment by test driving it, better kept it in my imaginations.

My 98 Avenger — Performance: The 2.0L is small, but for the little motor my car goes quite fast. 35 in 1st gear, 60 in 2nd, 80 in 3rd and then on to 115 (top speed isnt its high point) Looks: The car looks great! The body style has got an Muscle car look to it, it dosent resemble the Jap cars( im Muscle ALL THE WAY)

Pros: Handling, Looks, Interior, Sound

Cons: Accesleration, Motor.

Good Car, Reliable, Looks Awesome, But Slow. — good car, looks awesome, the only problem is that it's rather slow. i did a 1/4 mile in 17.3 @ 82 mph. That's really slow. Good thing about it thought, is that it shares the same engine as the Mitsubishi eclipse/talon non-turbo, so they make a lot of aftermarket parts for it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks awesome

Cons: slow as hell

Overall I Just Love This Car — I love this car, I will drive it til it can't be drove anymore. Overall its a sporty and reliable car. Performance: It needs a bigger engine, and def. a new tranny. Build Quality: Everything is good but the door handle quality sucks, they break off easy. Appearance: Overall I love the appearance of my car. The only bad thing on mine is that there are a few dents.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: IT's really Reliable, and Sporty

Cons: Trannys dont last long

Fun Car, And It Was Cheap — I got this car with roughly 20k on it, and it had leather, power everything, power sunroof, a quick V6, etc. It was fun to drive and treated me really well....until the trans blew up @ 100k. The turning radius was poor, but everything else on it was pretty good.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun, nice looking, comfortable

Cons: it broke.
