Small Truck That Rides Like A Car With Power. — Mine is a 4.3L V6. It has 15 inch wheels, and the stock audio system. It is an extended cap, but it aint a family vehicle for sure! Its all pretty simple, i havn't invested that much into it, although if i were to do so, i would buy spray-in bed liner, and a better tool box. I did expect excellent gas mileage from this truck, but mine gets about 15 or 16 on average. It does remind remind me of a lower-riding car when i drive it, not a big Dually or something, and that is just a personal liking, hence the one-line summary.

Pros: Small, fast, able to work on it under the hood( for the most part) as opposed to the newer computerized trucks. It gets you where you need to go.

    Cons: Gas mileage, limited space.

The Best Vehicle I Have Ever Owned Or Driven So Far!!! — Equipped with a high output v6 custom 2 inch lowering kit. Why buy a Chevrolet S10 extreme when you can build an S10 the way you want it!!!!

    Pros: EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Cons: Cracked front bumper, minor fender rust, and a dent in the rear bumper

Loved The Thing — I had a few minor problems but nothing that I couldn't fix myself, wish that I hadn't flipped it though

Pros: Loved the styling and overall layout of the truck

Cons: Mine came with only 2.2l 4cyl engine so it was kind of a dog

Reliable, Economical — A fun, economical, good looking truck! Low on power with the 4cyl 2.2 is the only real sore spot.

Pros: Good on Fuel, good handling (when box is empty) Great looking truck

Cons: Could use more HP, bench seat not comforatble for longs drives.

    Pros: stick, good gas milage

Cons: no 4 wheel drive, slow

Average Vehicle — Overall I expect this vehicle to have the comparable life of a disposable lighter. Treat it like it's the only vehicle you will ever own. Unfortunately I had to load it onto a roll back 1 week after I bought it, (dead-drained battery). I had a difficult time getting it up the incline. I also cant clear the check engine lights or the ABS system problem. I bought this one because the first one could be used for parts to fix.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 4 wd ok, engine is a little sluggish, but it is 15 years old, tranny tight, accessories work great.

Cons: If I had not changed the tires after I bought it I would still be destroying the wheel wells & trim.

A Solid Light Duty Pickup. — They're really reliable but they're not very fast or powerful. They do get good milage and the front seats are suprisingly roomy for two people. She just rolled over to 153,000 miles and still running like the day i bought it.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Good milage, very reliable.

Cons: Almost no room in the extra cab, not very fast/powerful
