One Of The Best In The World — Performence is good on motorways and the handling is really good. The Build Quality: Did I have say that this is a BMW? Appearance: Really good to see that BMW Change to leather steering. My Plastic is very odd now and has to be changed. Cost of Ownership: Well it is very old and nothing to do at the Moment. Fun Factor: It's a BMW and the have the slogan: "Joy at Drive" (frei aus dem Deutschen: "Freude am Fahren"). Nothing more to say.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Freude am Fahren

Cons: Bad Streets aren' good in this car

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: BMW

Cons: gas consumption

Man...hail Yah... — This car is frickin amazing. Even though it only puts 170hp, its small size makes it go. I got it used from a friend who took really good care of it. He put suspension mods on it so it handles like a dream. I just needa put a couple grand and ill have 300+ hp. I just found a deal on a CARB exempted turbo kit that ill put on. I'm probably gonna get the worn seats replaced with tan synthetic leather racing seats that go for 350 a piece.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: small, stick, coupe...just the way i like it

Cons: relatively low horsepower

Luxurious Fun On A Budget (aka-the Poor Man's M3) — best car i've ever owned. horrible in the winter though. Exceptional performance for being a non-M powered BMW. Cost of ownership is why i bought it. Not as fast as an M3, but just as much fun without sucking the life out of your wallet.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: RWD

Cons: $$$ its a BMW $$$

Bavarian Motor Werkes — Rear Wheel Drive-nice, Reliability- spent 500 bucks runs like new. Has more gadgets than a 2009 civic-lol There is a reason it's a bimmer!! This car was worth every penny, hoping to get a newer one in the future. Finally, don't want to drive anything else!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Performance

Cons: Driving in the rain is fun but dangerous ;)))

Great But Not Practical For Philippine Driving Conditions. Do Not Have 18' Mags... Damn Potholes Ki — Freaking EXPENSIVE parts and let's not get started on the check-ups! But does IT corner like it was on train tracks!! Not like a tuner where they have jackrabbit accel, more like a long range runner. Beat the tail pipe off a Subaru Impreza on NLEX. Poor thing couldn't handle the long starights.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It's a Beemer, what other reason do you need?

Cons: If you want to be practical

Amazing Mechanical Work Of Art. Become The Most Skilled Driver On The Road. No Kidding —

Performance - I have driven the Neurburgring 10-15 times in it. During two laps in August '08 with bald winter tires in the rain, I attempted to improve my drifting technique. Out of the four times I spun out, I slid off the track three times, never damaging the car. I have so much control and confidence in the ability of this car. I December '06 I participated in the ADAC safety course. The final "obstacle" is to hit a spinning disk at 50 kph which throws the cars sideways onto a wet, slick surface which you are to attempt to straighten out and regain control. I hit the disk hard enough so that there was no way I was going to put the rear end back where it was supposed to be. I floored it and spun a 360 and while still slightly sliding at the other end of the course I punched it again to do another 180 to bring the car back to the end of the line. I received thumbs up from the instructor's daughter. I don't think they had ever seen that happen before. Build Quality - Earlier this month I past over 200k miles on the odometer while driving through Tuscany and then thrashed it on Stelvio pass coming back home to Germany. Appearance - I'm sure you know what it looks like. Judge for yourself. Cost of Ownership - It has been a little needy lately. The trunk rusted from the inside, so that was replaced last month and gave it another alignment. Also, one of the fans was making excessive noise. Replaced that. Fun Factor - This car was born on the "Ring" and is comfortable to drive many miles at a time. I also drift traffic circles when it rains. Pretty fun:)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 50/50 weight distribution, great driving feel

Cons: won't last forever

Would Buy Another One No Problem — Very well built car that has a ton of aftermarket parts for. Almost a 50/50 weight distribution makes it great for autocross and hitting corners goin fast! MPG was very good combines with the 5 speed gear box. Recommend bumping up to the M3.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Spirited driving

Cons: cost money to maintain

Outstanding German Technology — Very good car, strong on the road, fast. Looks Great inside and outside. Gas mileage is good but it is expensive to maintain. Have not required much repair, just the regular manufacturer's scheduled maintenance about every 6months. ABSOLUTE FUN TO DRIVE

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks Good and Drives Good

Cons: Expensive Maintenance
