Go Anywhere Do Anything In Comfort — Best Car I have ever owned. Very reliable and will go any where.. Rain, snow, ice, mud, deep woods, it just goes.. Pulls like a mule.. I haven't gotten stuck with it ever.. I love my Jeep. Almost no maintance even after 175,000 miles, it just keeps on going. I will by another one, but untill my 4 month old son gets his licence I will keep driving this one. I have no doupt it will last that long and longer.

Pros: Goes anywhere, Comfortable, Reliable

Cons: 15mpg in city, it doesn't have a 8 foot bed...

Great Vehicle On And Off The Roads —

Ive always wanted a Grand Cherokee, seeing as it was the first car i ever drove. So when i saw one sitting on the side of the road with a for sale sign, i knew i had to get it. 101000 miles, and only a couple of small scratches in the paint. it also helped that the previous owner is a mechanic at the local Dodge & Jeep dealership, and he put a lot of work into it before putting it up for sale. its got great acceleration for an suv, and its got a straight 6 cyl. engine in it, so its got some power. i love taking it through the woods down trails and everything, just exploring, and it makes it quite a ways with just 2 wheel drive. i have needed the 4wd a few times, mostly just for driving through major mud puddles. ahhh cranberry bogs.. as far as the build quality, you kind of have to go easy on them. they hold up great on the roads, but the trails can be rough. gas milage is ok, around 18mpg average. maintenance is fairly inexpensive, as long as you know the right mechanic. its a sweet looking car too. the classic jeep grill, small wheelbase, and the plastic trim along the bottom of the body, it all comes together. interior is spacious, plenty of room to stretch out. and the seats are so comfortable. its really a car you can feel safe driving.

Pros: spacious, comfortable, easy to drive

Cons: bouncy, and ive heard they roll over pretty easy

Great Suv And Off Road Vehicle — This vehicle is always reliable and handles anything you throw at it. From mud, snow and sand, it can handle it all. It takes rough roads at 60 mph with ease and handles amazingly on the highway. From back roads at 50 mph to those times when you need a little more...like 115 mph, this thing has it.

Pros: reliable

Cons: bad MPG

Clear — My Jeep rocks. The only thing is the gas mileage at 17 mpg highway and $4 a gallon gas there is no way a person can drive an SUV which is why we down sized to a cavalier, blech. Fun to drive? the jeep, heck yea!

Pros: drives great

Cons: gas milage sucks

It's My Dream Car As A Musican, Hauls My Stuff W/ Ease — car has everything a young adult could want!!! it has space, elegance, and class for me! i'm 21 yrs of age and this is my dream car!!! it does everything i need it for. gets me to and from where my friends and I need to be, gets me to work and gigs w/ ease!!! as a musician it easily hauls my amps and equipment with ease. it's built solid, like a rock, easily drivable and a great stereo system and lots of room!!!

Pros: lots of space, great engine and parts my jeep has over 138,000 miles and its a beast!!! it can't be slain, nice comfortable drive, and smooth I love this suv its my dream car!!! I absolutely love my jeep

Cons: the only flaw is the economy w/ gas :-( my jeep is a v-6 but still only gets 17.8 miles to the gallon and 25 in the city but what can ya do ohhhh well damn economy ....

Steady Work Horse — 145,000 miles and still going strong

Pros: Can get my bike in it, groceries, and supplies from the lumber yard; its 4WD, so it goes anywhere.

Cons: Stupid ABS unit keeps failing.

Wonderfully Reliable And Solid Vehicle, One I Can Trust. — This model is a wonderful combination of power and longevity both on the road and off. I opted for the 4WD Inline-6 model for the reason of the engine's reputation. The 4.0 Jeep engine has received wonderful reviews from multiple organizations and auto magazines in its time. It is a large and very functional motor providing sufficient horsepower for the classic feel of Jeep acceleration, and enough torque for a fun weekend off-road.

Pros: Wonderful off-road handling completely stock, not a rock-crawler, obviously, but pretty much anything else I have presented it, it has been able to handle.

Cons: Just gas mileage, which is not a significant negative factor for me.

Fantastic Vehicle, Save For The Gas Mileage. — This is a very solid car that I would recommend to anyone who asked. Mechanically, one of the best and most reliable anywhere. Good breaks, comfortable ride, and communicative steering add to this to make it a joy to drive. No problems whatsoever over the course of the 23,000 miles I put on it. If there is one drawback to owning this car, it is the poor fuel economy. I got an average of18 mpg, getting as much as 23 and as little as 13. However, I still highly recommend it as a sound, safe investment.

Pros: Powerful, extremely reliable 4.0 liter straight-6 for which 1997 was the last model year.  Great steering feel. Well placed controls.  Very attractive both inside and out.  Plenty of room for anything you could need.  Fold-flat rear seats.  Quality materials, in terms of paint, trim, interior fabrics, glass.

Cons: Poor gas mileage.  Around 18 mpg average for me.
