my truck just makes one click when i turn ignition over.i have changed the starter and solenoid,changed the neutral safety switch and the back up light switch and starter relay.still nothing but when battery is disconnected and the positive cable is put back on my truck tries to start with ignition turned off
I have a 97 Ford ranger. All my lights worked fine , now my tail lights stopped working and my reverse lights and back parking lights. ALL the other functions of the lights work ex/ Head lights, front/rear turn signals, front parking lights and hazards in front and rear all work fine. I changed the break bulb. I think I've checked every fuse on the side panel of drivers side. I just can not understand why the tail lights and reverse lights stopped working and I can't figure it out. I'm am IN DESPERATE NEED OF SOME HELP GUYS PLEASE. My daddy is gone and I have no one just the basic knowledge of things he taught me before he passed. My plate light even works everything literally works out except tails lights reverse lights and back parking lights (turn single and hazard work fine in front and back) p.s it's 97 Ford I think XL or something it has the little rear seats on the back that fold down)
my 97 ranger starts goes about 1/2 mile and quitts let sit ten minuetes and starts and goes again i replaced the fuel pump fuel filter fuel regulater air filter coil pack spark plugs wires crank trigger still same thing what am i missing
It started being hard to start. It is a standard and I was having to stomp the clutch. Sometimes, I had to jump it off, too. I changed the clutch safety switch...but it is still doing the same thing It starts easy if it sits for a while, but if I drive somewhere and park it, it acts up...wont start without stomping and sometimes a jump. also...maybe not related.. but the other day, the oil pressure went to zero....but the next day and every day since, it is fine. Do I need a mechanic ( or a priest)?
There is a "pull out" in the cab of my 97 ford ranger xlt extra cab. It looks like a movie screen coming out of the wall... what is that for?
