Good For A Throw Away Car... — It has okay acceleration and a decent top speed, but the handling isn't that good to be honest. The mix of Japanese parts from the Eclipse platform it's based off of and the American parts from Daimler-Chrysler can cause problems with the electronics as well. Overall, she was good for the time but well past her prime when I owned her and did okay for the times I needed to.

Pros: God top speed, nice flow, and design.

Cons: Bad handling, mixed parts from multiple cars causes electrical issues, mine had paint oxidation that I heard was common with the '97s, and the door handles have been known to break off.

Front Suspension Poorly Designed — Very nice looking outside, but poorly engineered. In this pic the car feature 17 inch wheels with toyo proxes tires, pin-stripe flames. In the trunk feature a stereo system including pheonix gold amps pushing 4 10inch mtx 7000.

Pros: quick for a 4 banger!!

Cons: too many suspension recalls. constantly changing ball joints and wheel bearings

Unique, And All Round Well Equiped Car. — Great car. the doors opened well, it had those amazing grooves on the hood, and the engine sounded great. it was a little slow, at just over 170 hp, but held it's own compared to most entry level cars. power driver seat, a/c, power mirrors and windows (including sun roof). i enjoyed owning it, for sure.

Pros: Looks sexy as hell. nice hood, great tail lights, and stock 17" rims. a lot better than it's female counterpart, the Sebring. engine held strong.

Cons: slower than it should be. only 4 bangers came with standard transmission, and there were problems with the electrical components every now and then.
