It's Perfectly Fine For Ppl That Don't Care What Theyr'e Driving But Don't Want A Car Payment — It's a nice budget car that gets good gas mileage, horsepower is yet to be desired but with the cost of gas no-one can go wrong with 37 mpg... this thing is like a go-cart, it's snappy and handles like it's on rails

Pros: gas economy

Cons: manual tranny

Great Choice. — Always accelerates; always brakes; always turns. No unexpected repairs in 136k miles except for a front bearing replacement after an aggressive off-road sprint. Still looks like a 1990s model car. Was paid off in 1999; virtually free to drive. Insurance is cheap. Nobody will steal it. Turns on a dime and is small enough to avoid door-dings in parking lots. Fun and worry free!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: size, confidence, reliability, versatility

Cons: On-ramps take awhile.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Uh, Good Daily Driver, Good Milage, Low Maintenance, Still Runs, Oh And The A/c On This Thing Rocks! — Uh, it's slow, like REALLY slow. I get on the freeway and everyone just zooms right by me. I get mad about it but hey, what can I do about it. It's reliable, takes me from point a to point b. The A/C on this thing KICKS ASSS!!!! I got friends and buddies of mine who have newer cars and they think cuz I drive an older car that the amenities on it are not up to par- but to prove them wrong I told them to take a seat in my 4 door rolla with the A/C on. Man, did they changed their minds so quickly. Now, instead of me hopping for a ride in their nicer, newer, faster cars, they hop in my little ding a ling daily driver and enjoy the A/C with me. How Ironic, to prove a point I get to suffer at the end!!?? ~_~;

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: A/C, nuff said!!!

Cons: slow, slow, really really slow, or it's just me

Practical Point A To B Transport! — In terms of US of A experience, Corolla is true to its stereo type of boring but reliable and fuel efficient car due to which Indian community owns these cars with obsession! It was a used car so not much to say! But it always started with twist of the key even after staying under 1 ft snow for a couple of days. Wobbly at high speed (80 MPH or higher) but that was I guess more due to edge rather than the product having a problem.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: If you are new in USA and are buying your first car, look at no other!

Cons: If you are going to be in USA for really long term, I say enjoy the real American cars - ok ok, I know about reliability of Toyota Corolla but hey, you get it even in India but Ford Mustang you don't!
