Great Build, Crap Mechanics — too many major drivetrain break downs to mention, but solid body frame like a tank

    Pros: comfy ride, great power

    Cons: breaks down to often

It's Old, But It Runs Like It's Still New. — With its V8, 5.2L engine, this Jeep still has enough power to do what 4x4's are built to do. It handles snow and ice covered roads without skidding due to its all-terrain tires and has enough force to compete with the newer Jeeps and other SUV's.

    Pros: Powerful

    Cons: Gas consumer

Ok, Not Great - Many Problems — bought this car because I needed a good car for the snow. Frankly, I should have simply bought an audi. The build quality was terrible, handles like a mack truck, bad gas mileage - overall not much good to say about it. Over the 3 years that I bought it, the air conditioner went, an axle bearing went as well as numerous other annoying problems. While not a huge investment, I think I bought it for $28k or so, it just was not the right car for the situation. Frankly the next car I bought - an audi s4 had far more to offer (better handling in the snow, better gas mileage, far better reliability and generally just a hoot to drive. So, unless you really need an suv (in which case I'd recommend a toyota 4runner) get an All wheel drive audi - far more fun....

The Best Of The Best — I like the way it looks and how it feels driving down the road. With alot of miles on it its still running strong. The only thing we have done to it is change the oil sending unit, oil & filter.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It gets us from point A to point B. I love the way it drives. Its comfortable to sleep in if you had too. Rides nice.

Cons: The stock stereo is not that good.

Not A Beauty Queen But It Never Lets Me Down. — This Jeep has been a very reliable vehicle. I have always liked the look of these Jeeps. Nothing fancy but looks like it could handle anything in it's path. There are some noises while driving but thats too be expected in a SUV. Acceleration is gradual but feels powerful. Solid Braking. I feel Safe putting my family in this vehicle and driving almost anywhere.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This Jeep starts every day and always gets me to where I need to go. It has 4x4 for any off roading ventures. I haven't had to use it but I know it works. Power Windows and Locks.

Cons: Pass Rear Window Needs a new Window Motor, 236,000 Miles, Misc. Cosmetic Damage,

Great Car You Will Never Get Stuck In It. Never Have Any Real Problems. — Performance is rather nice Has a 5.2L V8 that does what all V8s do ROAR lol. The braking isn't the best kinda touchy. Handling on the other hand is quit nice (if you don't mind the felling of flipping lol) Build Quality isn't half bad really tough and can take a hell of a beating. Touch little Jeep. Appearance is clean very good looking very slick high tech inside tough Jeep out side. Cost now that's something im not happy with at all!! Very pricey to drive. Horrible gas millage and maintenance isn't the best but its 4wd not many are. The fun of this Jeep do i even have to say? Its a Jeep lol

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun to drive great on trails and not have bad on road. Kinda bumpy. Great at towing.

Cons: Horrible gas millage and absolutely expensive on parts. There is a very common problem with the sun roofs getting stuck open. (mine is still stuck open haha)
