Surprisingly Great Car! — The previous owner put aftermarket sport springs on this car and it rides kind of rough but handles better than any other car I have driven. On/off ramps at 70mph are no problem. I have gotten as much as 34 mpg if I drive carefully. Power is surprisingly good for a 4 cylinder car. This car came with a five speed tranny that shifts well and is well geared for acceleration. I miss the torque of a v8 but this car is still very fun to drive. I would recommend this car for anyone looking to have a small, quick car that is still very practical for a family that does not need a ton of room.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great handling with aftermarket springs/shocks. Great power for a 4 cylinder! At 220,000 miles its still going strong and I plan on taking it to 300,000!

Cons: Many parts are not only hard to find but expensive. Front seats are a little on the small side. Trim around doors needs to be re-glued .

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The speed, and how easy it is to shift into gears. The gas milage is awesome! Close to 29 mpg!

Cons: The person before us that had it smoked in it, and soda spilt all over. I tried to clean most of it up but couldn't get every little bit. There's ciggarette holes in quite a few places.

Love My G20 — Moved on from my automatic 1995 to a 1996 with the 5-speed. I love love love my Gs. They handle like a BMW, sip fuel like a European Fiat, survive like a Toyota Hilux, and for a little FWD car, it's not even bad in the snow! To anybody looking into getting one, get the 5-speed. Nissan makes the best manual transmissions in the business, and the worst automatics. I'll admit, she's not the prettiest, but heck, nothing from the 1990s was. Want a little more luxury and better looks? Get a P11 built between 1999 and 2002. Maybe she's slightly underpowered, but that's nothing headers and an intake can't fix :)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Efficiency, handling, durability, peppiness, strong gearbox, comfort, SR20.

Cons: Maybe she's not so pretty.

Good First Car — The G20 is a decent small sport sedan. It has a small decent amount of power for its size ratio. Handles ok. Not too bad for a starter car, if it has been well kept and up to maintenance. Get the standard transmission if you can.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Was fun to drive as a beginer car

Cons: It did have some oem alarm system and power lock malfunctions

Lee's New Infiniti G20 — It's a 95' pearl white, automatic Infiniti G20 (P10 chassis) with the SR20DE, 140hp motor. I recently just bought this car for cheap ($275), and I had to put in a new transmission ($400) but still needs a couple things like a knock sensor ($150) and a new power steering pump ($150). The only thing bad about it right is what it's kiiiiinda rusty with a bunch of dings and dents, but not as bad as most Hondas this old. The previous owner didn't really take care of this car I guess. Other then that, I kinda wish this car woulda been the G20T model (T is not for 'T'urbo, mind you, but for 'T'ouring, haha) cause it would have came with LSD. Oh well! Anyway, since I've had it, all I've done is paint the stock wheels black and tint the windows. BUT future plans are probably just some decent wheels and a decent system anyway. Not too much, considering this is what the wife drives to work. Well, it's a good car to cruise in anyway, especially with leather and everything. Needs a bit for power (SR20VE swap, hehe) but other then that it's a decent car. I'd say, basically it's a Nissan Sentra SE-R with 2 extra doors and leather! hahaha Oh, pics are not OF my car but it is similar (minus bodykit and rims, hehe)

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: SR20DE, one day I'll swap in the 185hp SR20VE NEO V V L motor

Cons: Basically a Nissan Sentra SE-R with 2 more doors and leather seats.

I Love This Car — handling, looks, aftermarket engine upgrades, this car has the legendary nissan sr20 engine which puts out 140 hp and 132 ft/lbs of torque. highly modifiable and easy to find engine parts, although body parts are few and far between

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: SR20

Cons: rust in the fenders and rad support

Great Fun And Very, Very Reliable To Drive. — Excellent features and terrific quality. This trim doesn't have that many features (e.g. GPS, or Satellite radio). MPG is ok, but maintenance is expensive through the standard dealers for Infiniti. This is a very fun car to drive, and will keep your driving gloves happy.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Performance, elegance, clean lines, quality

Cons: Fewer features than other cars in the range

Cheap Reliable Car — My car needed little or no repairs until it hit about 215 thousand miles. Then everything needed to be replaced. Overall the car performed well and we got it for 8K in 2000. It was a good buy because it was reliable. I would recommend buying one if it has 100K miles or less because it will last for a while.

Pros: Reliable, feels like it has more power than its basic horse power

Cons: Low torque, not very good in icy conditions

Not So Great Exterior, 5 Star Interior. — Man, this car was cherry when I got it in 2003... I only had it a couple months before using it to remove a lightpost in a parking lot... From the outside, it looked like a fancy Honda. Inside... you'd think you were in a Benz. All perfect, black leather, sunroof, heated seats, stock CD player (for a '95 that was a big deal), great sound system... the works. Great car.

Pros: Interior styling, features. Heated seats for cold New England winters!

Cons: Exterior styling. Not bad for a car made in '95, I guess.

A Great Car That Performs Great On The Road As Well As At The Pump — The best part of this car is the suspension. The steering is responsive, and the car changes directions instantly. A limited-slip differential on the front keeps the wheels in contact with the pavement in any weather condition. You can go to any back road and throw this car around and it begs for more. The engine revs quickly all the way to its 7600 rpm redline, but it feels a bit ordinary when its not revved. The interior is done in black in keeping with many other japanese cars of this time; the Recaro bucket seats in the front hold you in on high speed cornering but are also extremely comfortable for long road trips. It has a surprising amount of people and luggage room for a car this size.

Pros: suspension, steering, seats, reliability, grip, handling, cargo space

    Cons: acceleration, ordinary looks
