Dependable, Fun, Quick, And Cheap — Back in 2003, when I was 16, I purchased a 1995 Honda Civic Ex Coupe in black with a 5 sp manual, with 109k miles. I loved that car!!! It was fun, fast, cheap and easy to fix, looked good for its age, and ran solid.

Owner for 0 years, 9 months

Miles Driven per Year:13

Pros: fun, fast, cheap, goodlooking, easy to drive and park, dependable, realiable, solid build, great gas mileage and loads of aftermarket accessories available

Cons: no A/C, slow when going uphill, expensive to insure, popular with young thiefs

Smooth Ride... — I have owned this ride for 6 years...excellent gas mileage, great looks, had some engine problems right around 140,000 miles...and mistakenly took it to a non honda dealer...after 2,500 in engine work the engine blew up 30 days later (the mechanic said he told me I would have to use extra oil after they fixed it...??) so after I spent another $ 2,800 on a rebuit engine from the honda dealership its been smooth sailing...

Owner for 6 years, 10 months

Miles Driven per Year:17,000

Pros: slick looking, power windows locks, air is cold, great gas mileage, comfortable to ride in

Cons: quarter panels started to rust, paint job is oxidizing, dogs going up hills, have to know the "honda" trick when locking driver side door...

Amazing 95 Civic Si Hatch — I like everything about this car. Great options. This car is in great condition. Has no rust, just a couple of dings. This car also has tons of extras added to it. I love this car and have had it for around 2 months now and have had absolutely no problems with it. It is my first car and I am really excited for when I turn 16. With the manual transmission it is very fun to drive.

Pros: My car gets great gas mileage, has one 12" 8ohm subwoofer and a 150 watt rms amp, also has a buddy club exhaust with no muffler but does have a catalytic converter (it is very loud and has a lower deeper sound to it), function and form rear lower control arms, carbon fiber hood and spoiler, k&n short ram intake, Acura integra short shifter, eibach front sway bar, buddy club front bumper, 2.5" lowering kit, absolutely no rust anywhere on the car, original paint, power sunroof, working ac, manual transmission

Cons: Small dings here and there and minimal fading in the paint above both doors (what do you expect, it's a 95), manual windows and locks (they did not offer power windows or locks)

Honda, The Power Of Dreams — The best buy I ever did, no doubt about it. With it's 1.5L engine which produses 90hp at 6000rpm, this car is very trottle responsive. With factory thought-through options for tuning this car offers the best for ones who like me love to mod stuff making them better, and still suits my everyday transportation needs.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great power/mileage ratio, responsive drivestyle

Cons: the trunk is to small for a subwoofer and baggage

Best car Ive ever owned and over 200,000 miles on it and wanted to keep going my job made me trade it in for sales position cuz they said I needed a back seat to drive around my customers wish I never had done that I dont have the job anymore LOL I would highly suggest this car super fun super fast super cheap on gas super reliable cool looking.oh I forgot to mention I got rear-ended from somebody on the freeway I thought for sure my hatchback was going to be broken all over the place and then I was going to die my car didnt even have had what had a scratch in the bumper thats it not even a bad one this car was going 45 mph going about 5 miles as soon as the traffic light turned green for me. The driver that hit me said he was trying to make the green light. I was creeping up towards the center of the intersection when I saw him coming up in my rear view mirror. I laid on my horn it seemed like it took forever for him to hit me anyway take a long story short I walked away with my car not even having to get it repaired done to the back end anywhere on my Honda Crx Si. everybody was saying when I was buying it oh theres such a death trap dont even get that car youll die in it scared try to scare me my dad wouldnt even cosign for me but I got it anyway so glad I wasnt in my first car a 1967 karmann Ghia convertible that would have been terrible Im sure. Thanks for letting me brag about my little black jellybean that is what I used to call it! Awhh so sweet🍬🍭🍡

"I slapped some 15 inch accord wheels on mine (after I enlarged the center hole about 2 or 3 mm) with some 185-60 tires and damn! I could go through a clover leaf on ramp at 90 (I couldnt get it to go faster) and you couldnt even get a whimper out of the tires as it clinged to the asphalt like my dad to a dollar without any other modifications either."
Looks/Style Ranked 1995 Hyundai Accent 2-Door Hatchback FWD better.
"The aggressive front end styling for starters, I mean it looks pretty tough and Ive put mine through hell and it wont quit! The fact that its a hatchback with a coupe profile is another W in the win column, I love hatchbacks for their utility, I mean what other type of tiny car are ya gonna get a fridge into right? But they always look like a doorstop or even the dreaded Pacer from old. Hyundai did it right with this model, too bad they wimped out on the later models, smh! "
