'95 Gt Is A Great Car — i would have to say that over all the 95 gt (SN95) is a great car. has plenty of horse power and plenty of acceleration to get around any pesky people on the road.

Pros: quick and very upgradeable. one of the best mid range sports cars i have ever driven.

Cons: the seat belt recoil wears down quickly, the door panels are easy to break, the engine is a little complicated to get into everything.

Drives Fairly Well — Drives pretty good, not bad on gas mileage. tops out at around 120 or 125 mph. takes around 9.9 sec for 0-60, is a blast on a sunny summer day.

Pros: Convertible

Cons: Automatic, 6 cyl

Best Car I Ever Owned! — I love the looks, the ride, the whole package that Ford brings to the table. Nothing compares to the performance and style of a Ford Mustang. It doesn't matter whether it is the 1967 Shelby GT 500, 1995 STD Coupe, or the newest off the assembly line, Ford has outdone themselves.

Love My Pony! — I love my Pony! I have wanted one since I knew what a Mustang was. I finally got mine a little over 2 years ago. My hubby is not a big Ford fan, or should I say he wasn't. He loves it too. He always wants to drive it. My daughter is 7 years old and she always wants to take mommy's car when we go somewhere. Not the best on gas, but I love it. It seems to draw attention, people are always trying to race me when I go to town, but I am not dogging out my car for anyone! I know what it is capable of and that is all that matters....wouldn't want to hurt their ego by dusting them now would I? My hubby has added several things to my car to "boost" the power. I think it is cool you can do so much to it too give it more of a boost. I never liked standard vehicles, I always preferred automatic, but I love this one! I sure learned to drive it fast.

The Perfect Sports Car —

This car handles like a dream. It has amazing acceleration, even with just the V6 engine, and the manual shifter results in short throws and silky smooth shifts. It can corner and stop on a dime and leaves you as the driver with a feeling of total control. The front seats have a "cockpit" type feel to them, which I find enjoyable. Fit and finish is excellent, as the interior of the cabin has a very smooth and upscale appearance. I never experienced any rattles or noises stemming from the cabin. The ride is extremely smooth and quiet, and I have put many relaxing highway miles on this car. In summer temps, I have been able to achieve an excellent 30-32 mpg on the highway with the manual transmission, and typically average around 25 mpg in city driving. Visibility is excellent, and parking is easy. The fiberglass construction of the entire exterior means that rust will never be a problem, an added bonus. The Mustang was not designed for winter driving, and it shows. Handling in the snow and ice is extremely poor, made more so by the manual transmission. I drove this year-round and learned to manage its deficiencies in winter weather, but I do not recommend winter driving in this car. The back seats are difficult to access for passengers, due to the 2-door coupe design. The back seats can, however, be folded down level with the floor of the trunk, allowing for long objects to be hauled with little problems as long as they are no more than 1-2 feet in height. I drove this car hard, but never had any mechanical problems aside from the head gaskets blowing around 120,000 miles. The exhaust system tends to rust, I highly recommend replacing with stainless steel if you live in a northern climate. For several years, this car provided me with the most enjoyable driving experience I've ever had. Acceleration, cornering, handling, and braking were all excellent and gave me a feeling of being in absolute control of the road. Whether joy-riding in town, going for a spin on back roads, or cruising on the highway, this car fit the bill. Highway driving in particular stands out, as road noise is minimal, the ride is extremely comfortable and relaxed, and acceleration makes navigating heavy traffic no problem at all. The Mustang is an excellent, excellent car for any mid-sized individual or couple who enjoys a refined driving experience, but is not suitable for families due to the difficulty of access and size of the rear seat, and may not be suitable for large individuals due to the cockpit type design of the front seats.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Acceleration, Handling, Style, Accessories, Visibility, Ride Comfort, Fuel Economy, Reliability

Cons: Back Seats, Snow/Ice performance

It's All Right — The preforance is good for what you have to work with, but over time it goes downhill fast. I have a rebuilt engine in mine that is running good, but the tires are in need of repair. Other than that it is a good reliable car for the most part but i wouldn't recommend it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun to drive fast

Cons: not enough horsepower

My 1995 Mustang — My '95 Mustang performs impecibly in all areas, it has minor repairs, (minor rust, paint trade marks on rear bumper) interior and exterior are both extremely beautiful to see, well maintained, no visible leaks anywhere! it has a 5.0L HO EFI, getting anywhere from 21-26 MPG! It can get you where you want to very fast! It also has a 5 speed manual transmission!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: beautiful car

Cons: needs minor body work

1995 Ford Mustang GT Coupe RWD Review
John says:
Nice car, sound great and the interior was very sporty, an excellently designed cockpit area.but the exterior design was not worthy of the Name. Mustangs are unbridled and raw, powerful and ornery The biggest problem with Mustangs has always been the lose nut behind the wheel. Mustangs attract idiots like bees to pollen. But they are the great American affordable and original Pony car. most all of them were Wonderful Some were excellent , and some should have never wore the badge.

Handling Ranked 1995 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am better.
"Yes, the Trans Am /Fire Hawk and the entire Firebird line was years ahead of the 1995 Mustang in every way. Todays Mustang is an amazing example of what competition can create, The 350 GT r is not a car you want to line up with unless you have the premiere model of what ever you brought. The Fight in the dog is better than the dog in the fight."
Value Ranked 1995 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am better.
"The lines on the 1995 Trans Am are almost Lear Jet perfect. The Mustang Fast Backs can compete with any of the pony cars, however the Coupe is..Lets just say its not destined to be a classic, or we could expound and just label it as dog ass ugly "
