1995 Dodge Neon 2 Door — It was a good first car. Pretty slow though. Terrible acceleration. Fun to drive though cause its pretty low. Not too bad on gas either. My paint started chipping off though cause it was this awkward purple grey colour. I did have a sweet sound system :)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive

Cons: Slow

Great Car — I've had this car since I was 16.. It use to be a reddish color, but I had it painted a pink color with teal green flames on the hood and the sides. It's great on gas, and it's a good car overall

Pros: Paint job and I've had it for7 years

Cons: the headlights

Small, Effictient, Great On Gas =) — I own a '95 Dodge Neon. This is my second car. It was very cheap the previous owner left it behind at their parents and they just wanted to get rid of it. I have owned it for three years and have yet to experience any major problems. It's great on gas! I don't really know a lot about cars. My friend warned me not to buy a Dodge Neon, but I did anyways due to the circumstances. It does slightly shake, I will have to look into that. Maybe I just need my tires rotated or something. It needs a new paint job because the paint has peeled off a tad bit and I left it in the sun a little. If I don't drive it around for a couple of weeks the breaks start to squeak. I like it. It has cruise control. It has always gotten me to where I wanted to go so no complaints.

Pros: Great on gas, Small but has enough space.

Cons: Besides the exterior, everything is fine.

My Econobox — good car fair acceleration. braking, mileage. appearence. It is nit a performance car but it is fun to drive it handles ok. I got it used and it was fairly cheap. It is a 1995 Dodge neon. It has aautomatic transmission, I was told to drive an auto by my surgeon, for an auto it seems ok, I prefer a stick.

Pros: economy and handling.

Cons: might have basd resale value

The Neon — The car is awesome on gas. Its a blast to drive. Has a cold air intake, custom dual exhaust, 16inch Loco rims wrapped in Falken Z rated 205/40R/16. The stereo is amazing. 2 15" Legacy subs, powered by a JL Audio 500/1 Amp. Sony Xplod 6x9s being powered by a Lightening Audio 400x4 amp.

Pros: Suspension, Interior, Paint, Stereo.

Cons: Its not running right now.

It Was $10.00 — This car sucked at acceleration. Terriffic on gas, air was ice cold and cooled the car fast. She handled like a go cart. The seats were stiff like sitting on stacks of cardboard. Car had all sorts of problems with seals in the motor, don't buy one unless you can get it for $10.00 :)

Pros: gas sipper

Cons: it was a dodge

95 Dodge Neon — Dodge Neon is basic transportation. Average acceleration, good braking, so-so handling. The car had bad engine issues (oil in coolant), wasting 1 qt of oil per month. Early neons had that problem (bad head gasket). It looked ok and was spacious for a small car. It was manual everything. Good gas mileage and maintenance was good until I had the head gastket issue. For fun factor, you could throw it around the corners and was fine with it. We managed long distance runs with no problems. It was just uninspiring. Great a to b driver, not that much passion.

Pros: Great starter car, cheap and easy

Cons: Avoid 95-99 models because of bad head gasket which is expensive to replace.
