This Truck Is My Baby.... —

performance: this truck has an excellent power to weight ratio it. im getting 398hp and 400ft/lb of torque. with the stage three breaking system this truck will stop on a dime and im not exaggerating. this truck has a stock suspension system on it but i have been very impressed about the way it handles you would just have to drive it to know what i mean. Build quality: this truck has been true to its name ''chevrolet'' this truck is tuff i have had no mechanical problems with this truck at all. the only thing i have changed that needed changed is my serpentine belt that it. it has no squeaks or rattles at all. Apperance: i am in the process of refurbishing this truck i am going to completly redo the truck inside and out from the ground up but in my opinion this truck looks very stylish and sleek. Cost of ownership: this truck gets from 17-22 mpg and i change the oil, oilfilter, cold airintake filter, and i flush my throttlebody with seafoam. and that costs around $120. Fun Factor: this truck is very fun to drive it is a five speed manual and with all that torque the tires will cut loose easy. and if you really want to have some fun find and abandond parking lot on a rainy day thats all i have to say.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: the top speed

Cons: i dont have much room.

Very Nice Ride — it has the power when you need it, it will get up and go, it brakes good, but has small turning radiuous which sucks, its a nice looking body style, it is a gas hog though, but fairly cheap to buy parts for, this is a very fun pickup to drive

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: I love its style lines and the power it has

Cons: i dont like the turning radious

Great Truck. — This is a great truck. I have 335,000 miles on mine and have not replaced or rebuilt any major components. I spend about $1200 a year in maintenance and minor repairs. Not bad for a 15yr old vehicle. All electrical components are original and still work.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Very Reliable...cheap to repair

Cons: nothing

Solid — 305 5.0L V8. Mostly stock. Bad ass sound. Definitely don't have to worry if it will start or not. Bad gas mileage lol. Gets the job done. Has over 300,000 miles and I am sure its ready for 300,000 more!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliability

Cons: MPG

A Good Basic Truck — I like this Truck its my first Pick up truck. I like that it is a 5 spd standard and has a V6 so I save on gas but the truck still has power not much as a V8 but good enough for me.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good Gas Mileage, 5 SPD standard

Cons: Nothing yet to me

Would Be Good For A Wood Hauler Or Someone Who Doesnt Need Power — very reliable yet cheesy build quality. ugly, slow. I gotta be honest though about the power, it was only a 4.3 v6, so of course it will be a turd. 4wd system was crappy like all chevs. it had a good payload and got good highway mpgs though

Pros: Cheap

Cons: lack of power
