1994 Toyota Celica GT Coupe Review

309 Ponies — My first GT4! (thats still on my drive...!) Love the car, very very fast with a very short ratio gearbox and very reactive clutch. Never felt a standing start like what this can do... Something about it that just makes it stand out from the rest and has a roll cage to boot which is cool...

Pros: The speed, and the sound of the blitz dumpvalve.. nice!

Cons: Petrol cost and the clutch takes a while to get used to!

My First — Handling was good, especially with the low profile tires. Acceleration was not the greatest, but you can't accept much from a 4-banger. Breaking was good, and would stop on a dime. Headlights could be a little better...not the best. Overall, it definitely was a dependable car. Glad I had it

Pros: Dependable, took a beating and kept on going

Cons: Poor acceleration, paint peeled after a while

Toyota Celica St202 Gt — This car is god looking, great performance. And can very easily transform into a VERY cool racecar.. TRD (Toyota Racing Development) have made som serious cool stuff for this car, some things are just hard to find, but ebay.com has a lot of those TRD parts for the Celica. I bought to Denmark in 2008 - May. And had to pay the Danish HIGH HIGH tax. But the day i recieved my Danish licencs plade i overall had spend less money that it would had cost me in Denmark. In Denmark the car was for sale for about 105.000 Dkr - 140.000 Dkr I bought in Germany for 4700 Euro - Which is around 35.000 Dkr - The tax was 38.000 Dkr. so overall i at least saved 27.000 Dkr. Almost 4000 Euro !

Pros: OVERALL - GREAT CAR !

Cons: Nothing yet :)

All Round Exellent Car, Everything You Could Want All In One — The cars build is just second to none, the interior encases you and makes you feel safe, the exterior is a lion in the grass ready to pounce. the engine is super reliable with a great 174bhp from a 2.0 16v straight 4 engine. Its FWD so handles like its on rails and there is nothing ive ever experienced like it!

Pros: Great power from the engine, super reliable, amazing looks, gorgeous interior, great toys, great safety toys, fantastic standard stereo and very easy to upgrade!

Cons: Cant think of any.. honestly.

Love It!!! — This car handles like you wouldn't believe! Anyone that says GT-Four's understeer is overstating things. The ST205 has fairly neutral handling, pushing to understeer in slippery conditions or when pushed WAY too hard. At lower speeds oversteer can easily be induced. She gets up and boogies off the line, sits flat through corners, and has amazing brakes.

Pros: Well rounded performance

Cons: Could be 100-150kg lighter

Quick, Economical, And Looks Good All At The Same Time. — This car is a remarkable car. My 6th gen celica gt has all the good fixin's like moon/sunroof, nice sound system, leather seats, ABS, etc. Also the engine(5s-fe), is not only good on gas but surprisingly fast.

Pros: Nice interior/ exterior, good gas mileage, fun Daily driver

Cons: This car comes with the American watered down version of the real Celica engines that are over in the UK and Japan.

First Decent Car — I bought this car on a whim because I needed a car immediately. I ended up loving it after a couple days. It was my first car that wasn't a total embarrassment and it was somewhat powerful and came with an audio system. After a few months it was wrecked (not my fault).

Pros: reliable, well balanced (fun handling), I liked the interior

Cons: Not the perfect car, but I liked it.

Great Handling Could Use More Power — purchased fully stock, great handling in the turns and not bad aesthetically. the only problem I have had so far was because of the previous owner not the car. The car was let sit for 5 months prior to my purchase and the left front break rotor was sticking, which is a common problem for cars that have been sitting. other than that its been an ideal car, however performance parts are hard to find.
