Fast And Affordable. — These cars are great with lots of power and torque. The LT1 engine produces 285 factory horsepower which is a great amount that will keep up with most of today's models. The car is really fun to drive and is really a thrill and stiff sport ride. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Looks, Power, Fun Cons: None ![]() Looking for a Used Firebird in your area?CarGurus has 468 nationwide Firebird listings starting at $5,436. |

She Has Balls In All The Right Places — She is tempermental and often will lose traction easily enough on wet surfaces. She is quite capable of handling sound however and does not rattle like others have. She is sa dream for me to drive onward and onward. She only cost me 2500$ which was the exchange price of a new Grand Am coupe family car 4 cylinder. She has needed ample repairs due to the fact that the previous owner did nothing to take car of her. 140k miles is a long time to go without servicing. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Fun Fun Fun Cons: Lack of driving experience |

Badass — So it burns gas fast, but it gets you there faster. The body is sleek, and the interior is really clean. For a car built in the 90's it was ahead of its time. Overall, a real fun to drive car. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Everything Cons: MPG |

As far as bulid quality is consorned it is somewhat difficult to maintain. but you will fall in love with this car to the point where you wont mind investing your time and money in it. great day to day car, great gas mileage comfertable, fast and always turns heads. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: It's fun. Cons: moderatly difficult to maintain. |

If You Have Time And Money Go For It — The car is overall a nice car for its time. However owning one today for me is very costly. I have more money in repairs than what the car is worth or what I paid for it and the car has under 60,000 miles. Maybe some last longer, but mine has been giving me grief ever since I owned it. Right now it is messed up and nobody has been able to figure out why. I'm tired of repairing things, and think I'm going to just sell it for a loss. I advise you to look into the reliability of these cars before purchasing. Some can last a long time, but mine has been horrible. I got to know a few mechanics well unfortunately. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: fast Cons: cost |

94 T/a — Fun car... LT1 w/ 115k miles. K&N CAI, SFC's, Magnaflow Catback, Pacesetter Mid-length headers, MSD 8.5mm, NGK TR55ix's, and crappy tires. Hauls like no tomorrow, great fun and a helluva good time. Def going to be fun at the track this year...sure is fun on the street Pros: acceleration, handling, fun factor Cons: very small interior, GM interior |

Firebird, Ya! — This is my baby and my love, and despite the fact that it's falling apart, it's got 150, 000 and is still going strong.

I wish the interior plastics were of higher quality, but for a GM car of the vintage, damn it's a good vehicle.

I can say that I have ploughed into at least 6 curbs my tenure owning it, all on the right front side.  Any lesser small car would have needed thousands in repairs by now, but this car... was almost designed to be ploughed into curbs.

I have needed no more than a few alignments and a few new wheels.  Pros: Sexy shape, sexy performance. Cons: Low-quality plastics, model is aging. |

1337 Bird — This was the first car that legally belonged to me. I got to driver her to UW-Waukesha and then to UWM. Sharp handling and aggressive appearance and sound. The only reason I don't still own it is because I sold it back to my parents when I bought my Trans Am. Didn't make sense to have 2 summer cars, and nothing for winter. Pros: RWD, Excellent handling, concealed headlamps, sleek and aerodynamic exterior, frameless door windows, sporty comfortable seats with large bolsters, red instrument panel backlighting, powerful 8 speaker stereo, power everything, aggressive sound with Flowmaster exhaust Cons: 3.4L V6 has only 160 hp, but 200 torque, rear drum brakes |

Fast — Its really fast, uh got preformance heads, and new headers, k&n air filtercharger, 350 corvette lt-1 engine, exhaust cut out, inside got a 5 inch touch screen deck, 2 10" alpine type x subs with hifonics 2000 watt amp, outside got 18" rims, so it rips around good enough for me haha. Pros: Very good acceleration, loud subs. Cons: Only 1 cup-holder. |
