My Favorite Of All Times. — This was and still is my favorite vehicle ever. Not just because it was my first car but because it was me. The manual transmission made me feel like i was part of the car. It was tough and could go through about any thing i put it through. The 3.0L V6 was just enough to push the truck to highway speeds up hills here in western PA but it did it with no complaints and with or with out a load. The best part was the sound. It didn't sound like a truck with a small V6. It sounded like a little sports car with a performance v6 or even a small v8. Gas mileage was pretty bad for what it was, but i think it was my driving. I usually got 14 - 16 mpg. My dad managed 22-25 mpg. With the added visor, running boards, fog lights, tool box, and tonneau cover it looked sweet. It was almost unbreakable after the electronic four wheel drive was removed at about 60,00 miles. I will miss this truck forever.

Pros: Apperance, manual transmission, exhaust sound

Cons: gas mileage, not having it anymore.

Ranger — This baby was mine for nearly 5 years! Never would have imagined a Ford product could last this long. Bought with 100,000 miles and sold with nearly 170,000 rough service miles. Performance was an entertaining drive at times. She handled and braked like a champ!! Build quality was relatively decent for a blue oval product. Interior was sparse and blah. Exterior was slicker than snot on a door knob with my little bit of customizations. Averaged 20-21 mpgs but managed to reach 28 mpg on a trip to St Louis once.

Pros: Never blew up!

Cons: Nearly did blow up.

Better Than A Gm Truck — My Pickup Truck kicks ass! It has nearly 265000 miles and hasn't given me much trouble at all. I love how high off the ground it sits and how useful it is. I wish it was a little faster but its a fun truck. The interior has held up well with no sqeaks or rattles. The 4.0 liter v-6 is the way to go, it has plenty of low end torque and can really spin some tires when equipped with the 5-speed manual. The parts are cheap too and its been way more reliable than anything we've owned from GM. GM fans can beat it!

Pros: Good looks, indestructible, Ford reliability, fun to drive, 5- speed manual

Cons: Bad gas mileage, almost 15 years old, starting to show its age a bit

209000 Miles And Still Going — This is what I drive when my other car is broken down. Gets me where I need to go. It needed to get the trans rebuilt but other than that its ran fine.

Pros: 4.0 v6

Cons: its a ford

Little White Truck — I owned this truck for several years after retiring the Corolla. It was fun and served me well. I bought it with 12,000 miles and had it up to 80,000 in only 3 years. It was an awesome pizza delivery vehicle and made trips from Phoenix to Cali once a month for about a year. I took it places it shouldn't have gone and it hung in there like a big truck. Never had a problem with it!

Pros: Sturdy, fun, nice looking.

Cons: I got totally ripped at the dealer.  Wish I could have afforded the 4X4.  There should be more than 4 cylinders in a truck!

Great For A First Truck — Great, reliable, small truck. No room in back seat so I could only take one passenger. Sold it to a kid in Dallas, OR. It can now be seen with dents, bullet holes and paint on the side still running like a champ.

Pros: Reliable

Cons: 2wd, small back seat

Over 200,000 Miles And Still Running Strong. — Very reliable truck. Got a lot of pep left in it for having a four cylinder, 5 speed manual with over 200,000 miles. Handles great too.

Pros: Good on gas.

Cons: Body has got some rough areas.

Lives Up To The Built Ford Tough Name — Bulletproof, 3.0L with the 5spd tranny, I beat the daylights out of this truck in high school and had no issues. Had 210k miles on it when i got rid of it, and i regret getting rid of it. Definately a solid truck.

Pros: BULLETPROOF

Cons: Not a thing
