Low Key Luxury ... How Euros Shuld Be. Not Blingd Up Like A Hotwheels! — not one of the faster cars ive owned, but who needs fast when you have leather seats yo!! sunroof is also wicked for the odd late night cruise controlled stand up foot steering manouvre... you knw the one! needs sum mags asap! having a black bmw with black steel wheels looks sooo ghetto i keep getn pulld ova fo nuthin!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: luxury

Cons: ppl keep crashin into it gggrrr!!!

An Awesome Car That Still Feels Good After 15 Years — Our BMW 540i has been a great car, but it has it's issues. Here's the pros: Interior is very nice with soft leather seats, beautiful wood and good quality plastics. The outside is soooo muscular - it looks fast standing still. We have AC Schnitzer chrome rims which brings out the beauty in our car. The suspension is top notch and our car handles flat on corners. Road feel is great and the brakes are awesome. The bad: Reliability has been a let down. The transmission went out a little over 100K miles. Cooling system also a little before 100K. Lots of leaks - power steering fluid, coolant, brake fluid, oil, transmission oil. We finally got all the leaks taken care of and the warning system is blank! Woo hoo!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Driving and looks

Cons: Maintenance/repairs

Bmw 525i — I bought this car because i wanted a car that would be a good motorway cruiser ! I am not disappointed , it is a comfortable cruiser that does 30mpg . As well as the effortless motorway miles it also has the performance and handling to embarass plenty of smaller cars that you might expect to be more nimble . After 180,000 miles it still drives beautifully and goes from service to service without using a drop of oil .

Pros: Fast , comfortable , truly a drivers car

Cons: Can't think of any

Bmw 525i — Fun car to drive. Feels like it needs 6th gear though. Acceleration isn't bad. Handling is a little off right now (Bushings need to be replaced) Expensive to fill up! I have lots of fun driving it. I think exhaust is stock, but still has a very sporty sound. NEEDS CUP HOLDERS! I think i'd rather have a 318i for gas mileage.

Pros: BMW makes great machines, this car is no exception. Has a very sporty feel to it and wants to be driven.

Cons: Minor body damage due to being keyed. Some heating problems. Doesn't get very good gas mileage.

Bmw — Being that the car is 5000 pounds, it's not big on acceleartion, but it's enough to roast the local ricers. What the 5 series is good for, is a cozy quiet ride thats somehow...fun. I don't mind driving it the 2 and a half hours to visit campuses cause...i know i get to drive it all the way back again.

Pros: Quiet, comfortable, relaxed

Cons: not the racer's choice

Totally Reliable — This was a solid car and my first exposure to German engineering. It's hard for me to buy anything else nowadays... the cost may outweigh the pain inthe wallet! Besides, there really is joy in driving for me and I was surprised that a used car like this could provide it.

Pros: ride, reliability

Cons: uhhh... it was kinda long, like a boat.

'94 Bmw 525i — Considering the fact, it's an old car, it still goes as if it was new. With it's 192 HP, great steering, handling it tops many of the newer cars. Ocassionaly a thing or two break down and parts are quite expensive, but once the car has grown on you, money is not an issue. I've driven newer and "better" cars, but nothing comes even close to being as fun as my 94' BMW 525i.

Pros: Fast, beautiful, great drive...

Cons: Fuel Consumption

So Much Better Than Jap Crap! — The Phoenix! soon to rise from the rise from the ashes, built like a tank, no rot what so ever, best straight 6 ever produced in the whole world absolutely bulletproof. Great to chuck around and very good handling for such a big car. Doesn't look to great now but one day will be the very best looking car on the road. It's a proper car!

Pros: everything

Cons: its not finished yet

Serious Power For A 1994 Car... Very Weak Transmission And Cooling System — If you're in the market for one... get it with the sport package... you can pick one up in decent condition with 120k miles on it for about $4500. Plus... my mileage is about 16.5 in the city... but 25 on the Freeway

Pros: Horsepower, Torque, steering and ride

Cons: Transmission just blows goats... they last about 90k miles if you're lucky

My First Bm Was An E34 520i, Love It, Just About To Sell It Now. — Solid, powerful and with great road presence.

Pros: Build quality, upper end torque, road presence

Cons: Fuel economy, can be expensive if something goes wrong as premium parts.
