1993 Honda Prelude 2 Dr Si 4WS Coupe Review

Looks More Expensive Than It Actually Is — Prelude is an excelent car. The performance and build quality is great as for what you expect form Honda. 4 Wheel Steering system is absolutely amazing. It's not a cheap car to maintain. The gas consumption is OK for the 160 horses under the hood but don't push the pedal too much or it's going to suck your wallet empty. For a '92 model Honda Prelude is still a headturner. The interior is cool. I like the dashboard which extends from side to side and gives a "starship" feel. The backseats are just for kids. Full grown person can't sit at the back. It's very fun to drive. Grabs the road tight with it's 4WS. Actually it looks more expensive car than it is.

Pros: Looks, Perfomance, Quality, Innovative

Cons: Small backseats, Not a "city car"

Honda Prelude Si Vtec — The car is decently quick. The 2.2L VTEC engine is awesome! Never needed repairs other than a ERG solenoid and a few electrical things. Gas mileage is ok, if driven peacefully. Although car is about 15yrs old, it still look great for its age. The car is built pretty solid and looks of fun to drive!!

Pros: Good Engine, guick, stable, solid

Cons: Heavy car and extremely small rear seats

1993 Honda Prelude Si — I bought this with 193000 miles it needed some a nice tune up and a good cleaning but it really came back. It is on racing coil-over which makes the handling pretty awesome and drops it a few inches. It has a stainless steel 3" exhaust with a huge 4" canister, ram air, carbon fiber hood and rear wing along with some basic interior upgrades. It is very fun to drive and makes a nice rumble when I turn it on. Great sports car for what I paid for it, back seats are worthless for people but great for more storage room.

Pros: Handleing, Acceleration, manual, looks

Cons: Backseats, non-VETC

The Coolest Car I Have Owned So Far! Plus It Is Quick For Its Class. — I love how my car handles it stays really smooth while having that sports car quality. I have had to do some repairs on just break down things. the interior is very sleek and stylish as of now the exterior needs some work. As far as cost to drive it could do better but it is a lot of fun! I would recommend this to people who arent rich but love the thrill of going fast!

Pros: you feel cool while driving it

Cons: it can become expensive

Very Nice Vehicle To Modify — I've enjoyed having this car for 7 years and I would keep it forever if only I could.

Pros: I think this car is the nicest car I've owned. 4 cylinder economy, v-6 power. (its a 4-cylinder

Cons: No Cup holders.

Brilliant — This car is awsome, boy racers in 1.1 fiestas or clios appear and think they can beat a car wih over twice the engine, idiots, infact i never rose to the challenge because it would have been embaresing. just a shame the engine gave out really. I will drive mine again. its a honda so parts are expensive but good quality. shes thirsty in town but with crusie control she just keeps going down motorways. 14 yrs old and she has criuse control, elecrtic windows and sunroof and 4wheel steering. always turned heads although i kept her in stock condition with no mods. well just a few hidden ones anyway

Pros: just an awsome car

Cons: It currently only has half an engine and it drinks fuel

Yes!!! — The 1993 Honda Prelude VTEC has proven to be a success for it's time. The 4cyl 2.2L FWD coupe makes an astonishing 190HP and 160ft.lbs. of torque with a redline of 8000RPM. The Prelude's curvy body style makes it real aerodynamic which is always good on the highway and for the economy. The factory suspension makes the Prelude's center of gravity low and with the help of the 15x6.5 alloy's, the car sticks onto the road. So if your looking for a car that has looks, performance, economy, and reliability, the Honda Prelude is the car for you.

Pros: Good power
Reliable
Nice looks
Good Handling
High top speed

Cons: Small back seats
No cup holders

For Its Time Was An Amazing Car — Handled well had a very sporty interior with great gear box and responsive for someone who lived in the inner city

Pros: Sexy looking car good on fuel and reliable

Cons: A bit on the higher price range for what it delivered

Not The Fastest But Had The Overall Package — Looks, feel, reliability (if you change the timing belt on time), acceleration, overall fun....EVERYTHING about this car I miss. The SVT has better acceleration but doesn't feel as fast as this car did. The handling was very similar to the SVT I have now as well.

Pros: Looks, performance (options to upgrade), seats, quality feel to everything, silver paint lasted forever

Cons: timing belts suck...could always use more speed

Manageable Workmanlike Performance — Honda reliability, good performance and great looks. Great handling and comfortable ride. Good everyday car and can even take a reasonable sized shopping trip.

Pros: Reliable, low ownership cost, good fun to drive
