Very Satisfactorily. — I paid a very fair price for it, thanks to R & J Mobility in Independence, OR. For a Dodge Grand Caravan of this vintage, it is a lot better than most, especially given its high mileage. Still, there are the ongoing annoyances of the failing conversion components installed by Braun Entervan, a driver's power window that intermittently fails unpredictably, and Dodge's/Chrysler's typically weak headlights of this vintage, but these ongoing aggravations have not kept me from using it as a daily driver and driving it on long road trips (4k - 6k+ miles) with up to 30 mpg, depending on the quality of the fuel.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Gets far more mpg than most other Grand Caravans, Only on 2nd transmission and have over 200k miles which again far anticipates other similar Dodge Grand Caravans.

Cons: Some of the Bran Entervan conversion components have not held up as well as the other Dodge parts have. To be fair, most conversion vans are never expected to have so many miles under their belt and the conversion represents Braun's first.

1993 Dodge Grand Caravan 3 Dr LE AWD Passenger Van ExtendedReview

My 93 Grand Caravan Le Awd — My Grand Caravan LE AWD has just a hair over 213,000 miles on it. With the exception of a blown head gasket, I have never had anything major go wrong with this van. Drives well and still gets 18mpg on the highway. Not bad for All Wheel Drive I guess. I am having problems locating parts for this particular vehicle though. Seems as though there were not many of these AWD LE's built to begin with and there are fewer and fewer of them still on the road.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Cons: Not the best in class as far as MPG

1993 Dodge Grand Caravan 3 Dr SE Passenger Van ExtendedReview

A Beast Of A Vehicle. The Quintessential Soccer-mom Car Of The 90's. — Although this powerful and spacious van started out that way, the 3.3L factory engine now has 180,000 miles on it, and considerably less "go" in it. The transmission, rebuilt at 75,000 miles, has, in the past year or so, begun slipping and behaving erratically. Overall, this is a great vehicle to have as a secondary, backup, and roadtrip vehicle.

Pros: Powerful engine, overall reliable, extremely spacious, very comfortable.

Cons: Transmission dying, rough body, not exactly a "sexy" vehicle to drive.
