. — It gets pretty good gas mileage, is fun to drive. it is a work in progress, it was my fathers truck before he passed away. it will be fixed up and rebuilt in his memory I hope he would like it

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: building it in my fathers memory

Cons: lack of money to work on it right now

Its My First, So I Love It — i like that its very easy to work on, its has the largest V6 that chevy made, it was pretty cheap when i got it, and it may seem slow, but it can blow away most ricers that want to race

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: rear wheel drive

Cons: none

Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder — Its the first vehicle i Owned myself. Its not a beauty, I have put it through alot. But it has yet to really let me down. Its a Manual so its always a blast to drive. The worst thing is its terrible in the winter.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its a manual

Cons: its not the best highway vehicle

Bad 93 S10 — This truck is bad to the bone, this truck u cant kill it, this truck has no speed government, this truck is in the middle of road in money, the only promble with mine is it aint 4x4, this truck is beast, to who may not know the motor in this truck is 4.3 and if u were to put 2 more cylinders on it u got a 350. if this truck had a limited slip u could roast the tires all day

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: everything on it

Cons: i suggest u get an ext. cab

I'd Buy It Again - Only This Time As An Automatic So The Wife Could Drive It Too. — It was my first truck - and my first 5-speed! The small V-6 was great on gas milage (25-29 mpg highway) and the ride was nice and comfortable. The styling was great for its day and the quality held up!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great ride, great work horse.

Cons: It was a 5-speed - wife could not drive it.

93' Chevy S-10 — there are 2 things that i don't like about my truck is that it doesn't have 4-wheel drive so driving in the winter sucks if u hit ice, but the biggest thing that i don't like is it's rather little for my liking... :-)

Pros: great gas mileage

Cons: too little

1993 S10 — It had the power of a V8, handled amazing. It wasnt the prettiest thing on the road but it got me where i needed to go. It was a blast to drive! It would burn out so easy! the end

Pros: cheap upkeep

Cons: hard on gas

I Love This Car. — My first car. it runs like a beast. Very very dangerously slow. but no probs what so ever besides cosmetic things. i drove this car for a while and its terrible in the winter snow even with sand bags in back. But then someone stole it from me kind of so yea.

Pros: mechanical beast

Cons: no room and very inconvient features

Good Vehicle, Dependable — I love having a pickup!! I would never want to go back to a car. I get average gas milege, 4 wheel drive is so needed in minnesota. I have had to do some repairs but it IS a 1993!! The only downfall is it only seats 2! But sometimes that is also a benefit!!

Pros: has been very reliable

Cons: alot of rust around the wheel wells and doors

The S-dime...chevy's Little Monster. — Tough little trucks. While I owned the 2.8 V6, the 4.3 liter was also an option. If you are looking for a tough little truck that still gets great gas mileage, the S10 is near the top of the list with Toyotas minis. Although not as bullitproof as the 4.3, the 2.8 V6 still provided the small vehicle with enough get-up-and-go. You can literally beat the hell out of these trucks until they rust into the ground. And they probably will. Cab corners, rocker panels, body mounts and box sides were all vulnerable to rust and often did.

Pros: Dependable and durable.

Cons: Again, succeptable to rust.
