Vauxhall Nova — I Think there brilliant little cars. There built to last and if you look after them properly, will go on for years. Performance aint too bad, with the SRi good for about 120mph, I had the 1.2i Luxe Plus so it only had a top end of 115mph, but the handling is great and braking is quite good as well. Appearance aint too bad but u can change that with a few after market parts. These little things cost hardly anything to run so they are good when it comes to cost of ownership. Fun Factor: 8/10

Pros: Great Fun to Drive, Good on Economy

Cons: When they rust they rust! (but doesnt every car rust tho?)

A Beast In Disguise!!! — this little 1.6GSi was like a wolf in sheeps clothing leaving alot of boy racers sat at the lights in a cloud of dust n a look of shock on their face!!! was my baby!!!

Pros: like a racedog on speed!!!!!

Cons: unreliable n fell apart!!!

Not The Best Car In The Range — Very Agile and responsive for what it was, had funny handling and was very reliable and topped out at 108 mph which is faster than a standard mini metro and the nova has a smaller engine (Nova 993cc/Mini 997cc)

Pros: It was my first car and it was a laugh to drive

Cons: it's smashed up and i don't own it no more

Iconic 80's Supermini By Craig3405

I hate the sunroof squeak, it makes the build quality seem worse than a Saxo. The heating is poor. My final drive in the gearbox is too high, making motorways a chore. I actually find it hard to pa... Read More

Vauxhall Nova Sting By David

Handled exceptionally well, very light-weight but felt like sitting in a tin can. The fact that it was a sports edition probably helped. Build quatlity not excellent, but fine for the type of car. ... Read More

Nove 1.3 Sr, It Great Beginner. By Gareth

The Nova was the wifes first car. Although it was quite old it still ran great. A little underpowered compared to what we have owned but never the less it was a great first car. Read More
