For 1992, the most significant change in the Mazda 626 was the discontinuation of the GT touring hatchback, which was suffering from slow sales. Other than that, the model remained largely unchanged.
The 1992 Mazda 626 came in a number of trims, including the base DX sedan and the midrange LX sedan and hatchback. The DX and LX models shared a 2.2-liter, 110 power four-cylinder engine. Fuel economy was 24/31.
Owners of the 1992 Mazda 626 like the car because it is reliable and economical. They get good gas mileage, and when they need to make a rare trip to the shop, they are inexpensive to fix. They are also highly customizable, with many aftermarket parts and accessories available. Some owners complain that the interior feels cheap, and some have had problems with the air conditioning.

A nice, small little car. It's peppy, but it won't win any races anytime soon. Some models came with a turbo, but even then it's not that powerful. Good on gas, very reliable. I'm a college student, I've put 6k miles on it so far and only needed $300 to get it on the road, only paid for the oil change and gas since. It is a compact, economy car. It is also very boxy. While the windshield is very big, there is no rollover protection.Apr 28, 2015

good old burnouts in this old beast never got pulled over wasn't really good for anything except for overloading and burnout was a bit of a paddock bashed from time to time but other than that i wouldn't really recommend this car to anyone very unreliableFeb 21, 2010

it's a damn nice looking car...got whatever sunroof..i like that .with a V^ 2.5 L engine..very fast.. really...i would like to know that if u have achance.. to sit inside the car...are u willing to??Nov 01, 2009

i cant give a good review for this car because it was screwed up the day i got it. wasnt worth 3 grand for sure. headgasket blew. it was a waste of money. from what i hear these are decent cars tho...Aug 12, 2009

its like a grandpa's car with a hidden bulldog after he accidentally fell asleep at the wheel and pushed past 3500rpm.
it's a bit slow b4 that, but good stock exhaust note.
but fuel heavy, uses same amount of fuel as a commodore.
comfy suspension, but a little rolly polly round corners and tight roundabouts.
the rear suspension sounds like a chain rattling when i hit a big bump, dunno if thats just what happens or weather its an issue, but its an oldish car, its not buggin me so wont get fixed untill it does.
got a few issues like creaking and stuff, but its my baby :)Jan 10, 2009

skod øse,men den kunne da kører,den gik hele tiden i stykker,og man skulle mindst have 5 liter vand med nÃ¥r man var ude og kører... fik skiftet tandrem pÃ¥ den,og lad hver med at gøre det selv,det kan gÃ¥ sÃ¥ meget galt... betal dig fra det... lad hver med at købe sådan en bil...Sep 01, 2008

Turn Signal Activating Cruise
Just finished doing some work on my car, and after putting everything back in I noticed that when using my turn signal it activates my cruise along with it. On top of that it messes with my gauges, either causing my rpms to appear to fluctuate or my fuel gauge to drop. I'd appreciate any information that might help me fix this problem, thanks.
