Amazing ZR1 engine with 800 horsepower, and all wheel drive. Love the 3rd row seat.

I once had a 1993 model and it looked as good as this one. I would have to test drive to come to any more conclusions.

Best $1000 Ever Spent — I spent $1000 dollars on this car. The 4 cylinder in this car offers decent acceleration and smooth shifting, and it is very reliable. Some weird rattling noises and it drones on, but the value is unbelievable and it is a fox mustang that you don't have to worry much about collector's value

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Convertible decent performance very reliable

Cons: Interior is not  very special annoying rattles droning

Best Bang For Your Buck Around — Fantastic car for the money. There is no better bang for your buck car. If you want to go fast on a budget, a 5.0L 5 speed mustang made before 1995 will get you there better than any other vehicle.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Everything

Cons: Absolutely nothing

A Very Dependable Vehicle, Despite Its Age! It Has Been Missed Since The End Of May. —

One of the most reliable vehicles I have had the pleasure of owning...and always loads of fun with the top back and wind in the hair! Battery terminal corrosion and rebuilding the transmission only recurring problems...tip for terminal corrosion, get the little pack of petroleum jelly stuff from Advance and put on new terminals. After a friend and I did that, issue was never again a problem. Truly a classic, the Fox bodystyle! Loved this little bundle of mechanical joy! Drove it 10 years ago when expecting my son and drove it 10 years later, when my son turned 9...wanted to totally restore it and give it as his first car, but a careless driver took that option off the table. Can say, though, that this little car was sturdy steel, as I was t-boned in the driver's side door at about 60mph....she took it like a champ! I think the Ford Mustang is one of the finest pieces of American muscle ever produced, regardless of generation or engine size...driving home yesterday in my new Mustang convertible, I decided that the only thing I ever want to drive is a Mustang! And Ford just keeps getting better and better on Mustang style, drive, ride, and luxury! You can have a luxurious American sports car!!! Yay!!! The 2006 I just got rides more like a luxury vehicle than a sport vehicle, but with that tight, responsive r&p steering, the thrill of hanging a curve is still a THRILL!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: This car always started! No matter what, this car always hit the first turn of the switch after replacing battery terminals and using the pack of vaseline-like stuff from Advance.

Cons: Small space, but with the top down, you could haul a lot or one or two things that were pretty big. As long as the rear passengers were kids or not tall, it was a comfy little car

Mr — Thousands of aftermarket products available to make vehicle your unique vision. Looks and sounds fantastic. With top down built in tanning Solon. If you keep your foot out of the gas pedal gets decent gas mileage. First Mustang with airbags. Has all the bells and whistles.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great Looks, customize very easy, timeless looks, resale value keeps going up

Cons: Small back seat, no real cargo area, friends always want to drive it.

Great Weekend Car For The Common Man — I have the 2.3 full stock no turbo, its silver with gray and black interior. for a 92 the thing has very few problems its holds together well. The roof above the back seat is a little short so if you have people in the back watch the speed bumps. The front seats are great i'm 6.2 and i can easily sit comfortably. The car is totally reliable other Fox body era cars have had over half a million miles on them and still run strong, just remember to change the oil check the tire and its always ready to go. With a two door car and small back seat this is not much of a family car. The fuel mileage isn't overly great at about 23mpg. The price on this car is good ranging from 2,000 to what ever your willing to pay, cobra model can be up there in price. The trunk is small.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Handling and reliability

Cons: its only the 2.3L

Ride The Pony — Had the car several years, gets the job done and has the look of a 5.0 but doesnt have the power. I can't complain it's cheap on fuel. Pretty reliable other than the fact nearly all of this model have the transmission crap out at 100k but that's fixed.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fuel Economy, comfort, look

Cons: The engine, I need to drop a 5.0 in it

Hey, What's Not To Like. — This is an old car that will be used as a drive train donor for a Factory Five Roadster. It has a 225 HP V8 and a 5 speed manual transmission. It has plenty of power, and is comfortable to drive if a little on the loud side, the previous owner has done some removal in the exhaust department. The body is in fair shape, with some rust on the drivers side, and the overall paint quality is poor. Perfect Donor! The car is a lot of fun to drive, it makes all the right sounds and I have actually been able to get over 20 miles per gallon.

Pros: Loud, fast and fun.

Cons: Loud, poor economy and brutish.
