Love the car. Never want to part with. but not a family car. I would keep it if I had money to boost the performance but I can not afford that any more and as for a daily driver....Not a car to go shopping/hauling your kids in and out of. Oct 04, 2014

Overall I like the car, I'll probably have the thing for the rest of my life, with a few tweaks of course. Before I started modding it though, it got mid 20's on the highway, was very reliable, and is pretty cheap to keep maintenance on (brakes, oil, wipers, etc....) Overall, this car is needs a little cosmetic TLC, but there is nothing wrong with the engine or transmission. I am the second owner and have greatly enjoyed this car for over 4 years, but as this is my second vehicle, I really dont have the time to drive it or take care of it the way I want to.Sep 01, 2012

I owned a 92 25th Anniversary RS that looked great for what it was. I loved the car while I had it great handling car with some upgrades such as suspension,brakes, super charging helps. I would own another if the right one came along maybe a IROC Z,or Z/28 would be nice.Apr 20, 2012

Looks and handles great for its age. Despite what people think about old muscle cars this is actually a great handling vehicle. Its fairly inexpensive, modifications can get a bit pricey as with any car but you notice your gains with this american V8. More of a cruising/racing/project than a family car. People in the back seat should be shorter or not mind being cramped. Fortunately theres a lot of leg room in the front so moving the seat forward is an option. The rear truck space isnt very big either due to the T-Top storage area. When the T-tops are off you lose alittle bit of storage. When they are on you gain alittle bit but not much. Nov 23, 2011

Basically All Stock And Kept Original With The Exception Of A Flowmaster Exhaust, Mine Is A 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with the 5.7 350 Tuned Port Injection V8 , This Is A Very fun car to drive especially if your a teenager, with experience of course not everyone can drive this car especially if your just starting to drove, mostly because of its Awesome Raw Power The Car Possesses Luckily Mine Happens To be The 25th Anniversary Edition Z28, If You Have Any Questions About Mine Or Yours Feel Free To Post Comments :) Thank-you And Have A Great Day.May 12, 2011

My 92 RS is completely stock other than the rims. It is in mint condition no rust or dents. It is the dark teal metallic which was only sprayed in 92. Ive always wanted this body and when I got stationed in AK I found it and bought it.Dec 05, 2010

Good handling, power is good, chassis seems tight best of the 3rd gen styling I think I enjoy driving mine.. its fun to drive and handles well good lines on the body With a few small upgrades this car can be a tight handling car and you also can swap out various engines in this car to make it more powerful such as the LS-1 engine and the T56 6 speed manual transmissionSep 27, 2010

It only had a 305 so it wasnt quite as powerful as the 350 but for a first car it was amazing. It handles well and it has great throttle response. What it lacked in power it made up for in turns, it slid well and was pretty easy to correctAug 09, 2009

Performance wise.. it's awfully slow, and build wise... its a third gen camaro, however parts for it are relatively cheap. With a 305 gas wasn't too much of an issue. It was much more fun to drive than my police car.Jul 30, 2009

Well erm...I'll be honest it's not all that fast...yet, and the brakes are not the best, and sure it could handle better. But it looks gorgeous and sounds amazing! And owning it in the UK means that people are always stopped and looking...which can get annoying at times but not alot you can do about it I guess.Jul 05, 2009

The '92 was the last year the Camaro had a solid body before it fell to utterly "ugly" in the Appearance department. The V8 short shift gets you off first and has amazing get up and go at any speed. 2nd and 3rd would throw you back in your seat. Unfortunately being a 16-17 year old car, it requires significant aftermarket care to keep it running. not as solid as some of the other early 90's sports cars (Supra, 300zx, RX7, etc)Dec 11, 2008

This car is my baby. I absolutely LOVE it! Great overall performance: great acceleration (duh! ;-), very responsive handling and very stable and controllable and high speed, good responsive fade-resistent brakes. The build quality is very acceptable for a 17year old car with over 240K on the odometer, i mean its definitly no bimmer, but it is still very solid and i feel confident driving it pretty much anywhere. The only real problem i have right now is that the t-tops leak and that is simply because i havent taken the time to replace the 16-year-old rubber seals yet. Appearance is obvious, this car looks amazing! As far as cost of ownership goes, its not that great, primarilly because of the inflated insurance premium because of the fact that i am a 17-year-old caucasian male. Because of the modifications to the engine as well as my "spirited" driving style, i only get about 18-19mpg on average. But, it is SO WORTH IT!! This is an amazingly fun car to drive and it gets a lot of looks in town.Aug 19, 2008

This is my boyfriend Brandon's 1992 Camaro RS hatchback. He's had it for about 3 years and its a teal/blue color. He did a motor swap last winter and took the v6 305 engine out for a 197? corvetter V8 355 engine. It has a shift kit, demon carburator, springs, a b&M shifter(i think) 5 speed. Its so much fun, i love that car! Its so fast, lately its only been running as a 14.5 sec car, it got a 14.5 the first time we took it to the track this summer. When it was a V6 it was in the 17 sec range. This is such a sweet car, i really want to learn to drive stick so i can burnout in it. It still needs work, but its a good project car. There is hardly any room for passengers in the back seat. Gas mileage is horrible. Its pretty heavy. But I like the color combinations. I like how the fact that there is so much you can do to increase the performance. It handles great!! Not very good in the snow!!Jul 23, 2008

great car, but is missing the camero punch of old. and the paint,well lets just say chevy didn't spend any money on paint, if you drive fast in the car the paint will start to come off, but it will keep you young when you start it up and tear through the gears..May 25, 2008

well i got this thing in a very well used condition meaning it was in decent running shape but everything was about wore out in it and since ive always wanted a bad ass camaro i started tearing it apart and rebuilding..... so far this is what ive got done a 388 stroker with nothing skimped on as far as internals a fully rebuilt and strengthend trans changed the rear to a 3:73 with a spool all new suspension wilwood brake kit and so on and so forth it would take forever to tell you all Apr 08, 2008

this is a 1992 Camaro RS 25th anniversary model. the stripes are what sets the anniversary models aside from the rest. its got a new motor. only 15,000 on it right now. its a 350 with 315 hp. its also got a newer rear end out of a 91' Z-28. its a posi rear but it only has the 2.73 gears. I bought a new 1992 RS with 5-speed and 305...It was pretty impressive but not able to stick with the "stangs" of the era. I've recently with a 4:10 rear gear with a locker and a richmond 6-speed..This car will chirp the tires in 5th gear now..Also made minor changes to the motor...Mostly ignition, and a throttle body spacer...Jan 11, 2007
