1992 Ford Explorer 4 Dr XLT SUVReview

I Got It On The Cheap-cheap. — I paid $800 for it in May of 2007, and it has lasted for more than eight months, so it's been worth all I paid for it.

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Worth every cent.

Great Off-road Brute, This Suv Is At Home In The Mud — This SUV has lasted well past its sell-by date, but I have kept it for the reason to restore it and make it an off-road brute thats ready to tackle the trail. You can give the SUV quite a beating and expect it to start right back up the next day without too much problem. The styling on this SUV screams take me off road so i can get dirty. The car looks way better covered in mud and dirt than clean and fresh. You can not have fun in this SUV if you keep it on the road at all times.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great off road ability, takes quite a beating without much problem.

Cons: Not the best ride quality in the world, fuel economy is only so-so for a V6

Super Suv! By Kevin

Loved this SUV. In fact, I'm getting another one (2014 or 2015)! Preferred to drive it over our second car, which is a sporty and fun-to-drive 300Z. Leather and 4WD a big plus but not "must haves". Li... Read More

Good Vehicle. By Ken

Could use a little more power. The 3.5L V6 is just not quite enough. However, I'm sure my mileage is much better than if it had a V8, so I'm not really complaining all that much. Otherwise, a very nic... Read More
