How do I know if it is really the fuel pump before I drop the tank??
I was driving along in my van one day, it was running normal, nothing out of the ordinary. All of a sudden it was like someone just turned off the key, it simply just quit. All it would do is turn over but not start. I got it towed home and since then I tried replacing what I think is the fuel pump relay and it started right up, ran for about 2 minutes and then died again. It has not started since. Just turns over. People keep telling me it is the fuel pump, but then why did it start up when I put that new relay in it? It is just me doing the work and I would love anyones thoughts or suggestions before I try and figure out how to drop the gas tank to change the darn thing, plus they are pretty expensive!
