Mr.2 — I haven't driven either of my MR2s but I have driven my dad's and I LOVE it almost as much as my 300zx. It just doesnt have as much hard hitting, plant your body in the seat feel as the 300zx, of course. Other than that I love them! They are, however, very difficult to do an NA to Turbo swap if your not VERY VERY familiar with the car but after its all said and done its worth it. With my black one it has T-tops, as does my 300zx, and they leak, as does my 300zx. My new MR has a slick top and does NOT leak. Recommend getting a slick top in a rainy state and a t-top in a state with a lot of sun. :) And plus, theyre Toyotas they WILL last!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Theyre beautiful! Sound great! Last forever! Run smooth! Very reliable!

Cons: Pain in the ass to do a NA to turbo swap.

91 Mr2 Na — Very fun car to drive. Gets about an average of 27 miles per gallon. As soon as I get the money, I'm going to put a 3SGTE engine in it with a turbo. The only thing I don't like about it is that water leaks from the t-tops when it rains.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun

Cons: T-tops leak

Very Sporty — Love it. Fast enough... Very responsive and handles like a dream. Eats tires like most people drink water though and that's if your being nice. A little unpredictable once you push it to the a point but worth it. Interior design is what made me fall in love with it.. It envelopes you in its sporty and sleek feel. Everything is atheistically pleasing and placed with a purpose.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Handling

Cons: hard to find parts

My Second Jap Racer, Mr2 Mkii — Had this car since I was 19, cool car for someone that age. It looks great and still fits in with modern cars now, not bad to say its 18 years old! Inside its full black leather, no cracks or wear. This car is awsome!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Mid engine means great handling, oh and the engine and filter sound hard as nails just behind your head.

Cons: Just a shame its not got a turbo

Try One You Will Like It — well balanaced, rear wheel drive, turbo fun, does have tendancy to get the rear out and can be difficult to catch, quite a swift mover with sub 6s 0-60 and over 150mph for a 20 year old car it still has it, looks wise either like it or you dont

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: mid engined rear wheel drive

Cons: snap between over to under steer

It Is One Fantastic Machine — Bought the car new in 1990. It has been the most reliable car I have ever owned. I only drive it in summer months, no rain and it has never let me down each year when it came out of storage. Comfortable, economical and it looks like no other car on the road.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Rare, Excellent Handling, Lots of room for a 2 seater.

Cons: Little under powered.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: its super fun

If You Ever Get The Chance, Drive One Of These. You'll Smile For Days. — I absolutely loved this little car. It was seriously quick, and handled very well on the street. I never really got the hang of driving it in autocross, probably because of the mid-engine. It tended to push really bad in tight corners at relatively slow speeds, but it was great at higher speeds where the body could create some down-force. I have wished for it back many times. I sold it because it had developed some mechanical problems that I couldn't justify spending money to fix. It had around 130,000 miles on it when I sold it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: This thing was an absolute blast to drive.

Cons: No reason to avoid this car, unless you need 3 or more seats.

Mr2 — This was a great car, was reliable and eye candy. Performance was decent not too much though. TCO was relatively low because it was a Toyota. Amazingly fun to drive, did roll quite a bit in the corners with the stock suspension.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks good, mid engine, handles decent.

Cons: roll on stock suspension
