1991 Honda Prelude 2 Dr 2.0 Si CoupeReview

Prelude 2.0si — GREAT Car. Wish there was more aftermarket support for this char. There have been some GREAT builders of these cars and they have all done great things on track. They handle like their on rails. And they are aggressive looking yet not to standoutish. I hope to get another of these cars again to have as a collector peice. And to work on agian. Pros: Everything about this car screams sports coupe. . One of the best of it's time. Cons: Aftermarket support. . . And that it had a stepchild of a B series motor. ![]() Looking for a Used Prelude in your area?CarGurus has 39 nationwide Prelude listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

My 3rd Car; Fun And Relaible! — This was my first "nice" car... meaning "newer-ish" and in great shape. I had this car when I enlisted into the USCG. I remember I liked this car a lot; it was loaded... it had a sunroof and cruise control which were firsts for me at that time. It was sporty, fun and got pretty good gas mileage. It never gave me problems and ran like a top. Unfortunately, somebody in Coconut Grove (near Miami), FL liked it more than me because they stole it!! Yep, I came back from watching a movie to an empty parking space with nothing but broken glass on the ground. I was shocked and in disbelief! They eventually found it setting on its frame and I got it fixed but the work was they did was horrible so I got rid of it soon after that. Pros: Sporty styling, sweet interior, great handling! Cons: Could of used a little more ummph and wish I would have gotten it with a manual trans. |

I Love My Car — It is a very deribale car it can take a beating. the b21 motor that i have in my car doesnt really have much on top end but they do have the torch to get up and go. the motors are beast i have tried more than once to blow up the motor but it keeps on kicking. there is not a lot of aftermarket parts for this model if your going to get a prelude try to get a newer model they are easier to find parts and aftermarket products for. Pros: great handling and acceration Cons: to much body roll and they need more power. |

Great Car, Loved Them Since They Were New, And Now Ive Got One :) — This is my '91 Prelude Si. It's my baby, and I love it to death. Nothing too extreme done to it YET, but its got a modified intake, aftermarket exhaust, wheels, tires, clutch, coilover suspension, and a newly rebuilt engine. Future plans include more weight reduction, a turbo, and some more wheels and tires. Pros: amazing car, handles like it's on rails, and all around good performance Cons: kinda small, and a microscopic back seat |

Zippy — The car often called the baby NSX. Fun to drive, low and wide allowing the car to turn on dime. Ludespeed even made a turbo kit and h22 mount kit.
Pros:
great visibility
Cons:
Little room for taller people |

Handles Like A Dream — This was my first car ever and I still have it today. I love this car but it is showing its age. I have 104,000 on it I got it when it had 49,959 on it so i put over 50,000 miles on it. I have put not much money into it usually 200 buck give or take plus oil changes and inspections, besides a accident, except in the past year i lhave put about 800 bucks or so after I have been waiting on my new car to be built. Pros: 4 wheel steering Cons: its 18 almost, no airbags, ac, no pw, no pl, no pm, no abs, paint is showing age on the roof |

Perfect Economy Car — I have owned this car more than 10 years and have put more than 100k on it. I only expected it to last through college which was 5 years ago and to my surprise it is still running strong and approaching 200k. Pros: Easy to maintain, great fuel economy, Fun to drive around the PA winding roads. You likely will not find a car that offers better visibility (minimal blind spots). Cons: Low on straight line power, noisy ride, No "bells and whistles" |
