1990 Mustang Lx 5.0 — Overall, the car is fun to drive, but it could benefit from a tune. For a 20 year old car, the interior is almost immaculate and the seats are quite comfortable, the original paint is still very bright. The engine bay is also detailed nicely.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The Power

Cons: It needs a tune

1990 Mustang '7-up Car' —

Performance: 20 yrs old, still does what it is supposed to do. Build Quality: Mine has seen better days. The poor thing was pretty neglected by some previous owner long ago, so it has rust issues. It does rattle quite a bit when you hit bumps. Appearance: Very pretty color, green and white is a nice looking combo. As old as it is it still gets alot of attention when I drive it. Cost of Ownership: It hasn't been too bad. If I really wanted to restore it, it would cost a fortune. It has had a few problems, broken brake line, bad tie rods, lost my smog pump. These were not costly repairs though. It drinks alot of gas but all of my cars do. I don't drive it alot anyway so gas is no big deal. Fun Factor: A+!! It is fun for certain. I feel like I'll always have to have a convertible after owning this car. I should probably sell the car, but so far can't bring myself to do it b/c it is fun to drive. My car is not for those who like refined cars. This thing is just nasty, but I actually like it that way. LOL

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Top down in the sun, Mustang, 5.0, 'nuf said

Cons: It's well used. It should have lived a better life.

Upcoming Classic. — performance is ok.... just need to be modified. 225hp stock at the crank is not alot for todays standards. if you take care of them right and maintance them as recomended , they can last forever. but its a fun car to drive . the foxbodys are lightweight.... so i guess thats a better advantage compared to the newer style mustangs 1994-2004..

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun to drive , easy to modify. looks good.

Cons: its an old car.

Quick, And Fun To Drive — Fast car, Strong engine. Only mod is the flowmaster exhaust. Transmission began to go out but its not a big deal. Expensive to insure, but is always fun to drive. This car has never failed to start, fires up every time!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fast

Cons: NONE

None — i love my car more than alot of things. it handles like a champ and is very quick to accelorate. with the acceloration comes bad gas mileage. over all i enjoy being behind the wheel of this beast on both straight and curvey roads.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: it was my first car and first love

Cons: its fast

1990 Ford Mustang Lx 5.0l — Love this car, long live the five oh! Great styling inside and out. Solid performance, very enjoyable to drive. While the car is getting dated in performance it's very upgradeable with strong aftermarket support and it's easy to work on. These cars are getting rare where I live so it's nice to have a Mustang everyone else doesn't have. I will never get rid of this car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Solid performance, great aftermarket support, easy to work on

Cons: Stock 5-speed tranny isn't the best, rear drum brakes, four lug bolt pattern

Great Example Of How Good Domestic V8s Can Be But Also A Great Example Of Crappy American Chassis — Quick acceleration but with the 55/45 F/R it understeered too much for corners and then when the rear shocks went out the handling got even worse. The T5 transmissions are weak, even the World Classes. I've got through 2 of them in just a couple years and I had a stock 5.0 with pulleys, custom (I guess you can call it that) AC delete, Air pump delete, and the only vacuum line left was the one going to the brake booster. Factory suspension is so high it literally looks like it has a lift kit so that was unappealing. I wanted to set the engine back 8-10" with a custom firewall, double wishbone front suspension with a decoupled torque arm rear suspension, Saleen air dam and side skirts with GT rear bumper cover and Cobra wing. And paint it with the Panda Tureno type paint job since the AE86 (Levin) and Foxbody Mustang share a lot in appearance.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Accerlation

Cons: Poor weight distribution, weak chassis made weaker by decades of being beat on.

Perfect — My Mustang was one of the best cars I have ever drove. Had all kinds of power, got good fuel mileage, and was an absolute blast to drive. Looked great and sounded even better. I hope to have another one some day.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its a MUSTANG

Cons: NONE
