There's nothing like the sound of a 5.0 HO roaring to life when you turn the key. Add to that the ability to quickly drop the top, and presto, you have a true sports roadster.

overall a very nice vehicle to just play with. Many add ons and not your average stang. Low maintenance not to many problems out of it. Great on straight aways but not so well in cornering unless you drift it. : )

Car had good acceleration for a 302 HO 5 speed. Braking was great and handling was good. The rust monster had gotten ahold of it though and the unibody was rotting apart so I had to get rid of it. The convertible was great when it was down, but with just over 100 thousand miles on it the automatic top motor was shot and made it difficult to get the top up and down. I love the styling of the mid 80s to early 90s Mustangs though convertible or not. Gas mileage was not too bad considering what it was, but as with most cars or trucks after 100k they start wanting more and more money to repair odds and ends. Well worth the money to buy one of these in my opinion.

Performance- great off the line, decent horsepower. Build- ford tough like the motto Appearence- Being Restored Cost- Gas Is Gone Quick Fun- Huge 5.o liter engine= lots of power to the rear wheels, very fun to drive, smokes most cars off the line and if comfortably enough for a road trip

This is my girl. A quality vehicle with a surprisingly comfy interior. The 4 banger is slow, but gets good mpg and is a great platform to build off of, let it be a motor swap or boost. So far I haven't had any problems, but I'm gonna be safe nad replace the brake pads because I can feel em going, and changing the tranny to 5 speed before this one blows.

This is my 90' Mustang. It has the new pro-star wheels, tremec transmission, steeda tri-ax shifter, BBK equal legnth headers, off road h-pipe, flomaster mufflers, BBK Cold air intake, Pro-m mass air meter, Holley Throttle body, holley systemax upper and lower intake, 24lb injectors, NEW paint, 5% tinted windows and thats about it.

Modified Mustang with 400+ hp. Heads, Intake, Throttle Body, Exhaust, Supercharger, Mass Air. 3.55 Gears and much more... Sounds awesome.. pushes you back in the seat. 2nd gear is extremely fun. Lays rubber all the way to 3rd gear.

Sporty fun to drive easy to repair lots of easy install parts to make the proformance improve. Depends on your age the insurance is a little high. the car is fun an fast to drive stands up to the punishment that you give it if maintained right.

performance is ok.... just need to be modified. 225hp stock at the crank is not alot for todays standards. if you take care of them right and maintance them as recomended , they can last forever. but its a fun car to drive . the foxbodys are lightweight.... so i guess thats a better advantage compared to the newer style mustangs 1994-2004..

Fast car, Strong engine. Only mod is the flowmaster exhaust. Transmission began to go out but its not a big deal. Expensive to insure, but is always fun to drive. This car has never failed to start, fires up every time!

Quick car. Who wouldn't want a small light car with a V8 in it. It's a mean looking car that moves with a quick step down on the pedal. Black on black on black looks amazing. Sounds gorgeous too. Bottle fed baby.

well built, fast as hell, handled great, durable

Fox bodied mustangs have been around since 1979 however they are still eye catchers and can be had for a reasonable amount of money. My mustang is a 1990 and is currently 17 years old. It still drives like new. This is my first convertible and I love it. The 5.0 V8 is very strong and the car handles very well for a convertible. Interior wind noise is a little high at highway speeds and thats to be expected being a convertible. Seating is comfortable however the seats don't go back far enough for tall people such as myself. Fit and finish is good but not outstanding. Overall this is a great affordable convertible that anyone can own and enjoy without going broke.

my mustang is fast and sharp. weekly waxing, well maintained and nice cruising car.runs great, never leaks, new tires , brakes new transmission, new p/s pump, new radiator, easy to maintain, taxes and insurance cheaper , doesnt hurt your wallet on fuel, small gas tank

Fox Mustang = best car ever. Easy to work on, cheap to upgrade, looks good from every angle. One of the last cars from the time when owning a fast car meant knowing how to drive a fast car. I love it.

Great handling, plenty of top end and surprising acceleration despite being a AOD. Needed some TLC when I got it, but still very pleased with it. Very fun to drive and not to, to bad on the wallet in gas.

This is the 1990 limited 7up edition Mustang. It was originally a poopy automatic, but had that changed to a 5 speed & its a night & day difference. Really woke the car up. This summer I'm hoping to get the top replaced (its beyond shot), & putting a better motor in it. I love rolling along about 15-20 mph & stabbing the gas; it puts the car sideways. How many econoboxes, Hondas & Pruius'es you know that can do that?!?

It needs work on the body but the powertrain is rock solid. It has I believe 3.07 rear gears so it gets insanely good mileage, I'm eventually gonna swap in a 5.0 liter though

Basically this is the last generation mustang until 2005 that i care to acknowledge. Look sweet even when thrashed :) 302's are some of the best sounding V8's on the market. It was a beaten car so it didnt last my friend too long, but it wasn't bad overall.

Its not the prettiest car out there, not the most original, but its the best bang for your buck when it comes to a street muscle car. Lots of power, and it gets it to the road quite well. Not known for its handling though

It goes fast and it was cheap....It makes a good platform for a drag car and thats what i intend to do with it....it does start to suck down some serious money when you start modding though. go get one

Being the base model for this car, it exceeds every aspect you would think about. It's not gonna run a 10 second quarter, and you definately won't see even close to 200 mph (although i've seen about 140 as a top end), but it will put up a good fight at least. However, its shining moment, without a doubt, is when you tell it to turn. If you arent ready for it, the only thing keeping you in the car is the door. This car will just plain out-turn any other car i've ever had the privilage to ride in, with one exception. A dodge viper (but that's a whole new class of car). Overall, this is a good car. It gets just over 20mpg in town and mid to upper 20's out on the open road. It is a little small if you have more than one friend, however...

i love my car more than alot of things. it handles like a champ and is very quick to accelorate. with the acceloration comes bad gas mileage. over all i enjoy being behind the wheel of this beast on both straight and curvey roads.

its a mustang it rusts if you dont take care of it.. the drain plug always leaks oil... but god are they so easy and cheap to build and easy to make fast. and we cant forget they sound amazing!

I love my new car it is sweet it sounds great and has preformance and a 5spd. to back it up so all the guys in there piece on junk 4cyl. that think they are fast look at me and if you want a fast car that is sweet i would get a mustang

I owned one of these in 90 had it for five years, drove it mercilessly, (I was a kid) rarely checked the oil. It struggled along bravely without complaint until I melted a fuel line from an overheated block and it went up in a blaze of glory. I miss that car. I take much better care of my cars now.

excellent bang for the buck!tough as nails,ive ran the snot out of this car and all ive done is changed oil,brakes and tires.a real handfull on wet roads though,gotta go easy on the load petal when wet and factory gearing is way way too high!throw out the 3.08's and add a set of 3.73's or lowwer and it really comes too life! doesnt handle as good as it should,my 01 bullitt handled WAY better! twin turbo in the spring and some handleing help.

performance- it has lots off guts and it can take a good corner quick over all it dec! build quality- built ord tough! its a strong car never had it brake down ever but the alternater did go other then that its strong as ever appearance- my car is good looking it will soon be better looking when its done getting it paint put on cost of ownership- its well worth every penny of gas i put into it and every set ove tire:) fun factor- this it the funnest car ive ever droven and ive been in quite a few nothing ive drove has half the injoyment

Basically, its like this. Mustangs have long been the American tradition of preformance. These cars the "fox body mustangs," continue in that tradition. For the price, they are the best bang for your buck as far as preformance and parts. They are not however "traditionally pretty." The front of it kinda looks like a kid who has eaten a few to many paint chips and is a few cards short of a full deck. It does clean up however. Not in any way, shape or form practical, economical, or environmentally friendly. Its to loud, with the big gears I am shifting constantly, my friends can't fit in it, traction IS an issue, and turns... eh not so much. I love it to DEATH!

Dark blue with draglite wheels....very quick, was quicker with the engine it originally had, but dropped a valve and toasted the engine had a 180mph speedo and I seen 165 with passengers and the air-conditioning on. It had a roarty exhaust tone.

my car is insane it has a 5.0 ltr with a cold air intake medium range cam performance chip bbk headers dual flowmaster exhaust hi flow injectors ported and polished gt 40 heads and gt 40 intake manifold b&m short throw shifter 3:73 posi trac pretty much goes like hell
