1990 camaro rs it will turn over but it won't start
It jumped and I have put it back in time new spark plugs and wires and a new ignition switch module what could it be someone please help me I am stumped

The 1990 model for the Camaro saw the lowest production in the third generation, due to the drastic changes anticipated in the 1991 model. It also marked the swan song of the IROC-Z, which would no longer be produced as a result of Chevrolet not reupping with the International Race of Champions for which the car was originally named.
While the IROC may have been dying, Chevy was trying to save lives, by offering airbags for the first time.

I would recomed this car to be a second car for a project unlike I did It was my main car and I was always needing to do Somthing to it and gm wiring sucks and I was always having Electrical issues did love that it was a 5 speed with the 5.0 alot of fun to drive strong L03 , I had a 1985 silverado with a 305 and it was the worst engine I'd ever had but this camaros 305 was great very torquey and ran smooth and it had 225,000 miles lolMay 27, 2013

Rear visibility is amazing with the wrap around hatch window, Very simple to work on and plenty of room, Great sound but lacks top end power. For a twenty one year old car everything is holding very well. Gas mileage is not the best but what else do you expect from a V8? This car always gives me goosebumps when I hear it and for the size of the car the handling is incredible.Apr 06, 2012

A classic country ride. The lack of power in the old motor was made up for by the
fun times made available. The rwd was a great tiome. People loved the look of

car drives excellent. chevy got this one right. i plan on building it up quite a bit
here soon. the paint is sunfaded, and it has a few odds and ends that need to be
repaired but thats about all that is wrong with it.

performance: I got this car with a 355 small block chevy in it. It had tons of power but never ran right because the engine was timed wrong would have been a sweet car if I had fixed that.
build quality: Good quality car interior looked a little cheap and the clear coat on the paint was peeling badly.

awesome acceleration and braking but it does have a tendency to fishtail around sharp corners. Its got a few dings and paints fading in a few places and the back hatch is loose so that needs to be replaced, otherwise its in excellent condition for a 20 year old car. I love driving it and its a V8 but its not too hard on the gas...if you can stand to keep off the petal.Nov 12, 2009

I really like my old IROC-Z. I've had her for 10 years now, and only a few of those has it been driven. It's kind of a garage queen. It was pretty fast for it's day, but it'll probably get stomped on now by a new Maxima or Impala... Sweetest car ive ever owned! 350 is crazy powerful lays rubber for miles. Leaves everything else in the dust. Only 35,000 miles so its like new in and out. Bright red paint and loud exhaust tends to attract to po-pos though. Mar 03, 2009

This is my baby! It has a 5-speed manual transmission and 5.0L TPI engine. I love it :) It can go like a bat out of #?&$ and sounds awesome. I can get to 100 km/h in second gear. Cruises pretty good on the highway and A/C works great on hot days.Nov 10, 2008

this car is my pride and joy. I have done many upgrades. the only things stock are most of the body panels and interior. the motor is a 350 tpi ( not stock ) with about 375 horse power. this car is very fun to drive. if you can find one drive it at least once.Sep 30, 2008

My car had the 5.7L TPI engine. Performance wise this car was a blast to drive. The TPI engine generates a lot of torque in the low RPM ranges. This engine makes this car an excellent choice for spirited drives.
The huge negative for this car is the CHEAP interior. Plastic covers everything on the inside of the car, and the fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. As these cars get older the interior becomes warped from heat causing a lot of rattles and vibrations. Additionally, the 5.7L engine is only available with an automatic transmission! If you want a manual you will have to settle for the 5.0L.Sep 27, 2008

My 1990 Camaro RS was a descent car. The power was mediocre due to the age and highly inefficient throttle-body injection (glorified computer controlled carburetor). Many components didn't work when I bought the car, but it was my daily driver. The T-tops are highly recommended, especially without working air conditioning.Feb 19, 2008
