The Nissan 200sx S13 — it has a 1.8 16v turbo engine, which standard produces around 170 bhp, 0 - 60 about 7 secs and top speed of around 140 mph depending on condition of the engine, you can get more than 400 bhp out of this little engine with the right moddifcations. the brakes are good they pull it up well, it even has abs and the handling isn't bad either, good at cornering and smooth to drive. they are rear wheel drive which makes for great sideways action. overall build quality not bad but do suffer from rust probs, if you keep on top of it you'll be fine. if driven hard they also suffer from worn out subframe bushes and big end troubles and worn turbos, however these are a relativly easy fix and parts are easy to get. they have a similar body shape to a vauxhall calibra and i love it. interior is also good, not cheap and tacky looking like some cars today. however the backseats are not so good if you try to put a tall mate in the back cos of the low roof line, but most people take them out , i know i have and the front seats have a gap for racing harnesses as standard which is really good. not really sure as to mpg as i haven't driven it much as its in for a make over at the mo, well it is near 20 years old and was looking a bit tired so had to be done really. they do need regular oil changes, about every 3000 miles just to help keep things running smoothly as well as the usual service stuff. big fun factor as it likes going sideways, deff put a smile on your face. plus moddifying is easy as there are loads of options for it. you can even drop in a skyline engine in if you wanted to have even my fun driving it. you can upgrade most of the car to make it quicker, sronger handle better, stop quicker and make it an amazing car to drive. but for a standard car i'm very impressed with it and i guess thats why i love it so much. by far the best car i have had to date. smiles all round really

Pros: good strong engines, plenty of power to be tweeked out of it

Cons: rust, lets the body down, but keep on top of it and you'll be fine

Nissan 200sx S13 — I bought this car in 2003 and started upgrading it. The standard engine is too quiet - seriously, the viscous fan is noisier than the engine, so away went the covers on the underside of the bonnet and on went a cone filter and a tasteful but noisy exhaust. The standard suspension at 12 years old was a bit long in the tooth and one shock had gone so on went newer suspension (lowering 30~40mm) and a strut brace - that made it handle quite well along with the 17" wheels that were needed to modernise the look of the car. Nissan used mild steel for much of the car, so it's prone to rust in places that're exposed to debris and the elements - most notably the arches and sills. With the upgrades I'd already done it's quite quick and very fun to drive. When I've finished the rebuild (with further upgrades) that I'm half way through at the time of writing it'll be incredible! Don't expect to get good mpg if you intend to 'enjoy' the car - they're not hugely economical, especially after upgrades.

Pros: Best car I've ever driven

Cons: Big end failure sucks really - they're prone to it

200 Sx 1.8 Turbo — Best car for drifting there ever was, you hav to up the power a little to keep the drift. Taking into considiration that the car is almost 20 years old the, build quality is pretty good since I haven't had to make any changes to it. The car attracts alot of attention, because it has those beautiful pop-up lights that was so popular in the nineties. Fun Factor ..... keep going sideways with this one !!!!

Pros: Awesome

Cons: Not so feul efficient

Rwd+sideways=funfunfunfun — Good car. Interiors good but stripped out. Exterior is standard. Handling is good to start with but i've improved mine with aftermarket bits. My overall impression is that is nice cracking car and you can have fun with it.

Pros: Drifting

Cons: Engine currently being rebuilt by me

Not As Good As The Skyline, But Better For Daily Driving — Car is very good, reliability isn't an issue, lacks some of the performance of the skyline but again, isn't used for the same purpose.

Pros: Nice looks, good on gas, reliable

Cons: None really, just not as performant as some of the better models.

Basically A Beaut Of A Machine — The acceleration is really quick in this car which is a 1.8 petrol... a bit slow until the turbo kicks in at about 2500 revvs though.. but apart from that it'sreally quick and handles well around the corners. It's got an induction kit and dumpvalve fitted, with toora alloys, but one of them's buckled so it's a bit temporamental on ice

Pros: Good acceleration, great extrior and the interior is in mint condition.

Cons: Buckled wheel, and a bit slow on pick up
